When playing a game, I always like to anolyze to minor things.

One thing that catch my mind currently is how female Gunners look like.

If you say "Female Gunner" to me, I'd have thought that she'd look like Fahrenheit or Glory in army fatigues.

However, I found that female Gunners here are fair-skinned short-haired cute girls that always make me feel bad to blast their heads or limbs off. I think there are two or three different models of female gunner, but I see this one the most.

Although beauty is in the eyes of the beholder's, why do female Gunners look way neater in terms of grooming and skin care than, let's say, female Raiders, female CoA, and the rest of female antagonists?

What do you guys think?

Well, the Gunners are a very well-established group of mercenaries that are better-supplied than any of the groups you mentioned...they're even better off than the Railroad or the Minutemen. Maybe all that translates to having better access to skin-care and grooming products as well?

They may be better off than YOUR Minutemen, but they're definitely not better off than mine. They only thing they've got that I don't is Vertibirds. After the time I've spent with them, I'd argue that my Minutemen are better equipped for combat than the Brotherhood of Steel or the Institute even.

If you think about it, trigger man are also well dressed and groomed seeing as they're always in a nice suit or nice pants and suspenders. I would imagine it had something to do with how high of a level they are. Maybe the higher the level, the classier they'll appear? Because you're right, the raiders ladies have really let themselves go??

But then again why would they care? I mean with how the world has turned out and all what would be the point in trying to look nice when you can get high on jet, and drink yourself into an inebriated rage, and invade/terrorize settlements???

Because females are cute in general?

I have to admit, the female gunners are in fact kind of cute. Makes me madder that the gunners are not a joinable faction.

Or a faction you can even WORK with.

Someone started a thread about "why are gunners automatically hostile", and they raise a VERY good point.

They're a mercinary group, and I'm filthy stinking rich, why can't I HIRE them? How do they get work/clients/contracts if they shoot everyone on sight?

They don't always shoot everyone on sight. The only time they get trigger happy is if you get near one of their bases or you cross paths with one of their war parties. Stumble across them when they are guarding a caravan or in town they are... well not polite but a tad bit more restrained.

That's what I mean though. Maybe I'm "approaching their base" with a job offer. I just think they should shout out a warning or two before opening up.

"STOP, what's your business here?"

"If you ain't hiring, GTFO"

I will say, that I really don't consider a laser blast in the face all that cute. Maybe I would have a different perspective if it just didn't sting so much. Ok, maybe a lewd suggestion does deserve a response, slap in the face, drink poured in my lap or something, but singed eyebrows? Damn, woman that is a bit much.

Same could be said with many female bandits in Skyrim too. I notice the same pretty blonde in fur armor like a dozen times.

Raiders have Harnesses too.

Based on her appearance you would think Tina De Luca was an undercover Gunner or something.

Strangely enough, I think the Waste Maiden hair kinda looks sixy actually. With the exception of Tina, virtually every person I've seen so far that has the hair is either a Raider or Gunner.

Ever scrap a Gunner harness? Apparently they're made from unobtainium, pixie dust and nonmatter.

From the loading screen tips box, I too have read that Gunners are more trained and organized group. From the stories, it seems these guys rob places around. But still, as an army who live outdoor and been through life and death, these group of girl gunners are too clean for their Life-and-Death 24/7 job

Minutemen come to me dressed like hobos who've never been showering for 10 years. Like you, I also dressed my Minutemen up with clean clothes, yet still they look like hobos due to their dirty, worn out faces. LOL.


But thanks to the dirty looks of Minutemen, they look more Gunners than the actual Gunners when I dress them up with army clothes. Or at least that's how I imagine army who stay outdoor, robbing and killing people. Dirty, tired-looking, tanned skin tone.



Yep. The Triggermen seems to be very organized and wealthier. We never see them fooling around outside.



Female raiders are scary, tbh.

I'm not sure but I saw the real Mercenary with friendly NPC they're guarding. They're wearing army clothes just like the Gunners. Are they actually Gunners being hired or what?

Tina de Luca is how I would imagine a female gunner to be. She looks scary and badass.

How do you even tell the difference between normal harness and gunner harness if not for the name?

Cute females and males I always shoot into the body so that no ugly decapitation or dismembering can occur. This way you preserve the cuteness. Problem solved.

That is what I thought often too. My settlers are too stupid to defend themselves if I am not around anyway, why not simply hire some gunners ...

I read somewhere it's due to their diet, they tend to eat a lot of good foods unlike raiders etc Gunners are known to eat Salisbury Steak regularly and other fine meats.
