I do read the lore, and the circumstances of losing ownership of their land hardly matters.

It actually does, but you're clearly too unintelligent to understand that.

I'll try to dumb it down a bit for you. Half of Valenwood's Bosmer support the Thalmor. The Thalmor side, was stronger than the Empire side, in part because the Empire side was caught off guard. So they were run out of Valenwood. Now the Bosmer who support the Thalmor are the ones that remain in Valenwood. The Bosmer that sided with the Empire were killed along with their Empire buddies.

It's no different than the Nords who were killed because they sided with the Empire. The Stormcloaks come in, and beat up on the Empire, along with the Nords who support them. Do you understand now? I should hope so.

I think the Empire will also rise up against the Thalmor again, and there WILL be Bosmer fighting for the cause.

As a Dunmer, I neither support the Empire, nor do I support the Stormcloaks. Like the Dunmer in Windhelm say, "It's not our fight."

However, I do think that the current Empire will be forced to fade away and become a distant memory like the Alessian Empire is in current times.

No its different. The thalmor were fighting to gain ownership of Valenwood, and had allies from inside, while the empire was fighting to keep Skyrim in the empire while they had allies from the inside. Key differences is that Skyrim still belongs to Nords, always was a part of the Empire when the Empire was formed, so it wasn't a takeover, and Valenwood is completely ruled by Thalmor.

Hey Nords! Do you guys still rule your land? Nord: Yip.

Dunmer? You? Dunmer: Argonians try taking it, but yip.

Bosmer? Bosmer: Well half of us sided with the Thalmor... Hows that going for you? Bosmer: ...... we have purges now....

Yeah, I like the Dunmer that say that, because it's true. Perhaps the Empire will fade away. Wouldn't be such a bad thing if the Thalmor and the Dominion was also done away with.

It's actually no different. The only difference is the other side won in the Nord vs Empire case. No one was caught off guard either. The Civil War was and is pretty straight forward. The Empire and the Bosmer that supported them ALSO fought to keep Valenwood in the Empire, they just happened to fail. So remind me, what's the difference? Valenwood still, in part, belongs to the Bosmer.

Yep, and the Dunmer will remain untouched. We're no longer part of the Empire, so it won't affect us a bit.

If you don't see how that is diferent, then its best we move on. The Thalmor gained Valenwood. The Empire is fighting to keep Skyrim, and even if it does, the Nords still rule their land. Nords one way or another still have Skyrim. Bosmer have Thalmor boots on their heads.

No, the Bosmer still inhabit Valenwood, so there really isn't much difference. If there is one, it's that the Thalmor are scum and the Empire aren't such bad guys.

Even if I don't count that as a takeover, Valenwood still got taken over before. Nords after they gained ownership have not.

They're still in Valenwood, yes, but its no longer theirs. If I take my brother's tv, and I let him watch it in my room, but he only gets to watch it when I'm watching smething, its no longer his.

The thalmor let them stay in Valenwood, but they're under the thalmor.

Actually, where the Empire is growing weaker by the year, Morrowind is growing stronger by the Month. Plus, even when Morrowind was a province of the Empire, the Empire never actually conquered Morrowind. There was a treaty signed that made Morrowind a province, but Morrowind got to keep it's autonomy and way of life.

Thus we were an Imperial Province in word only.

Now that we had that Cataclysm known as Red Year, and the cowardly attack by the lizards, with House Redoran leading the Great Council I really don't think that the Empire has the muscle or drive necessary to conquer a reborn Morrowind.

We won't allow that disgrace a second time.

By the Empire, and that was partly because of a plague that infected the Bosmer. Again, you need to read more about what actually happened. They were fighting multiple enemies as well.
