Us Altmer are particularly good vampire necromages as Highborn lets us get level 70 restoration quickly.
Lots of turn undead spells a day.
I dont even know how the lesser races get their restoration up to 70 before level 20.
Best not thought about, it probably involves dung as always..

Dunmer are pretty good with vampirism since the whole red eye thing would make you discreet (rp wise unless you have DG). The fire resistance is pretty useful.

I've played a couple of Altmer warriors, with Heavy armor and 2H.

Those guys were Monster Men Mer, with their height and the slider all the way up.

They were both RPd as being Dremora Lords that were cast into the wold by Merunes Dagon, to forego a pilgrimage to do all the Daedric quests. This was punishment for relinquishing a Sigil Stone to a certain someone.

The first one was with the Vanilla game. so I had to RP him loosing his horns. Then I ran another in the PC and used the Dremora Race mod. It even had the Dremora sounds when he power attacked! Truly epic!

Actually my current main character is an Altmer who wears heavy armor and uses 2h weapons, and it's fun. Restoration magic is my source of healing, so the +50 magicka bonus means that I don't need to spend any points in Magicka but I can still cast a few spells.

Hmmm Mer's are pretty high maintanance, so if you try out a Mer then know what you're getting yourself into. Aaah I remember my first Mer, daamn.
Na just kidding Mer's are great to play with, my favourite would be the Dunmer

You chose Altmer?

...

Well, I guess no one's perfect. If you wish to get the most out of your adventuring career, the obvious choice would have been to go with a Dunmer.

You scum.
I'll send you to oblivion with the rest of your foul kind.
We'll see this "elven supremacy" when your fighting for scraps amongst the daedra.

I second this. No other mer compares to the aweomeness of the Dunmer. Especially VL Dunmer.

I doubt it.

Boethia and Mephala won't let that happen to their beloved Dunmer. Now that we worship the true Tribunal again, our dominance will once again become manifest on Tamriel.

Ah, to be so deluded... :D

Very true, but I fixed that for ya.

Thank you, Colonel. Finally someone gets it. :D

No, I'm pretty sure even Bethesda intended for all races to have their strengths.

I hate the elf people that feel elves are better than the other races. Especially Altmer people. -shutters-
As far as the elves go, I'd say Bosmer are the coolest. They seem to be the least [censored].

If you don't believe me, ask Neloth.

He makes it pretty obvious that we Dunmer are superior. ;)
