for the next Patch...the Community wishes:

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 10:20 am

rebalance the game difficulty:

- very very less gold in objets
- very very less potion
- very very less objects can be bring into the invetory
- more difficulty, i play hard like default level
- re build the gui interface to a classic RPG style
- do not distribute life, magic, etc potion in dungeon ! (or just a little bit :P)
- more stuff with different damage level
- do not permit to regenerate the power, life, strengh in so poor time. Yes heroe have to rest a time, sleep, and eat
- delete teleport, rebuild horse gameplay
- add information for side quest into the journal like main quest
- rebuild some house like tavern when it's a default pattern (i don't believe you use the same tavern so much time)

yes im an extremist but this game is so fine, it could become a legend.

These are for XBOX version and may apply to PC in some cases.
they have just the basics that you already have refined like they should have been.

UI
2. Favorite menu. When I click on the option I want the window should close. I should not have to then again click a button to get back into action.
3. Looting menu. When I empty a corpse, chest or other of all it's items the Menu UI should close by itself and not require me to push another button to close it.

Sure to add more later.

Uhm no to the favorite menu and to the looting.
in the favorite menu you might want to click multiple options? isn't very handy when you have to pause the game 3 times while the mobs still attack.
and looting menu? I agree that there should be a option for it but some ppl exaly put some stuff in dead people (URGHh)

Fix the story mode glitches that prevent you from doing the story.

E.g.

- Ulfric and Galmar will tell you to speak to one another because of 'Season Unending' and 'Joining the Stormcloaks' quests clash together

Companions ride horses, if you have an extra one. Rather than Sprinting everywhere

  • I want a reverse gear on my horse.
  • I want my companion to be able to ride his/her own horse, or ride with me on mine.
  • I want an option to "turn off" helmet (visual only, keep stats).
  • I want a single hotkey to equip an alternate set of apparel as town/social gear.
  • I want an option so my horse will "flight-and-surive" rather than "head-first-into-10000-frost-trolls"

My only wish - don't nerf any creatures. I love the difficulty of the game at the moment and would hate to see that taken away because some people don't like the fact that they can't beat everything they run into.

The problem is that those creatures are much more dangerous than a dragon. If a Dragon attacks a giant, the giant wins. If a non fire dragon fight against an icetroll the icetroll wins.
That's killing the atmosphere in the game. Changing the difficulty doesn't help because Dragons also scale with it.

In addition, enchanting, smithing and alchemy are broken. For a mage the game is easy at the beginning, you have not much magicka but the enemies are dying fast. Later the game is way too difficult, i've to use my hole magicka for only one enemy and the easiest enemies are dragons. But after a certain point (enchanting on 100) it's boring, i can nullify the spellcost of two magic schools, spamming all spells at no cost.
The same issues with smithing: With enchants and potions you can enhance smithing to create an über-Armor. With this armor the player can becom almost invincible even at master difficulty.

The Balance is broken. A patch is needed to fix it. Or just release the creation kit. -.-

Some suggestions:
  • Reduce all spell costs by half but make it impossible to stack cost reducing.
  • Increase the magicka Regeneration but reduce the bonus from items.
  • Cap the armor value of items at a certain point so you can reach the cap with an armor skill of 100 OR with master smithing. Heavy armor should have a higher cap than light armor.
  • Tigers, bears, trolls and giants are much more dangerous than dragons. Change that. I want to fear dragons, not normal creatures. >.> It's not bad that some creatures are very strong and you must evade them, but a dragon should be stronger.

MORE SPELLS. When the CK comes out I can add a whole bunch myself but for god's sake the console people will suffer if you don't add more spells. It's damned simple: make weaker versions of more powerful effects and more powerful versions of the basic spells. Maybe a rapid fire firebolt that doesn't require as much charging, a weak, flawed invisibility effect that has to be sustained, or bring back chameleon as a spell that makes you more difficult to detect visually. At the very least put some higher-level versions of the basic flames/sparks/frostbite spells. I was planning to build my guy around those effects since I'm a close-range spellsword but they just svck and I'm sick of waiting for the construction kit to come out so I can make better versions of them that work with the perks.

It would also be great to bring back enchanted items with chameleon... like the Ring of Khijiti in Oblivion.

I dont understand how the gameplay is "console-y". I play on Xbox...but I play SKYRIM on Xbox. Im a gamer...I play everything. So Im not a "console gamer" or a PC gamer. Im a gamer, and I play on both console and PC. So..I dont understand how Skyrim's gameplay, which really is similar to past games, except for combat which is faaaaaaaar better than anything before it, feels like a console game. First of all...define "console game".

1. The ability to be able to make torches and lanterns please,
and
2. 1st person view for my horse (like it was in Oblivion)

Dragons overall needs some fixing, various times they glitch and your unable to complete quests. Not going to go into detail since it contains spoilers.

With that said, the Alpha version of dragons that we saw in the video months ago was great that is what I would expect with fixing.

For all those who want things added don't get your hopes up but if I had to choose what should be in game is a barber shop like place that you can change your appearance at least hair going to showracemenu resets your points sadly

They should just fix the whole game, because it is flawed at the moment. Very flawed. Everything you mentioned is good examples of things they should include.

Oblivion equals win.

be able to lock onto a enemy.... I know, I know, die hard fans.. But the combat is clunky melee wise....

Do something with the horse... Ahem, Oblivion, was cutting edge, because the horse dun dun dun dunnnn. If you look at 2011, many other games have taken the horse to a new level in games...

Besides that... Nothing needs to be changed... hell just being able to make a video game is amazing, this is just a man I wish it was in the game...

Put diminishing returns on all player damage output and armor/resist values.

Cap the maximum amount of incoming damage certain enemies such as bosses, can take from any single attack.

Fix all dragon damage by adding a percentage of it that bypasses defenses.

Fix being launched to the moon by a giant.

Fix sneaking a bit, or make it have far greater penalties for not being in an actually shadowed area.

Fix immortal followers, so that they don't randomly die from splash damage.

Fix Alduin to actually be harder than a wild dragon or dragon priest.

Fix Alduin's meteors so they actually do damage.

Fix dragon glitches, especially combat related ones where they just freeze up and do nothing...and fix the go into flight, land in a location, fly, land in the exact same location loop.

Reduce horse health and aggressiveness.

Reduce AI priority against companions/horses/other things than the player if the player is actually doing more damage.

  • We need to be able to bind sets of weapons/spells/shield/empty hand with a single bind rather than having to fumble around with the awkward favorites system we have currently.
  • UI needs overhaul, it's horrible for PC
  • NPC magic damage needs a nerf, PC magic damage needs buffs.
  • A cap needs to be placed on enchants and smithing improvements, so that stacking skill enchants+potions doesn't make ridiculous gear.
  • Dragons need a higher minimum level, other than the first one you kill maybe.
  • NPC health scaling needs to be toned down, the combat was supposed to be faster and more brutal, but I ended up shooting a ridiculous number of arrows into some level scaled bandits with my first character.
  • Level scaling in general needs serious work, maybe more than can be expected in a patch, might have to rely on modders for this though sadly, as Beth left vanilla Oblivion in it's sad state.
  • Some spell schools definitely need more variety. Alteration and Illusion both seem very bland as is. Restoration too, despite being strong with good perks and cool visually.

Some big things, but at least a short list!

Actually i came across this as well and its not just a few things its random. Some time snow is missing which results in blue ice trolls and walls/floors other times its just individual beast like dragons. One time I had to fight a blood dragon that was invisible and wouldn't load textures if I did restart my game it was a very long and horrible battle xD

Fix the LAG on the PS3. Spoken to 5 or 6 of my friends who own Skyrim, and all of us have the same problem with LAG!

In and around Whiterun, the game LAGS a TONNE! And we have all experienced serious LAG after having played for 3+ hours (Play-time is the only common factor with the LAG that isn't the Whiterun LAG).
