For PC users: What rig do you got?

Post » Wed Jun 16, 2010 9:19 am

Intel Core 2 Quad Q660
ATI Radeon 5760 1GB
4GB DDR2 (not sure of the speed, sorry)
Windows Vista SP1

Running the game in "Extreme" at 1360x768 and pushing 30-40FPS, no slow down even in the heavy stuff. So far, it feels like Crysis 2 is infinately better optimised than Crysis, though obviously the smaller levels and less open design assist in performance.

I have a i7 920 intel, revo ssd for winx7x64sp1,another ssd running crysis, nvidia 480 gfx, mobo sound,9 Gig ddr3 mem, some minor bells and whistles, and everything is firm and driver up to date. Funny thing is I maxed ALL settings and my GFX's fan went full speed when i was only looking at the nano suits! Not even playing things so I suppose I'll have to turn it down.:(

Cheers.

P.S Windows Experience has my CPU and RAM at 7.4 everything else is 7.9. (Do they give 8?).
I tested on line,I'm about top 10% of computers tested world wide depending on site.

I just finished building my computer, and sadly find out Crysis 2 has problems running on my hardware wtf lol Crytech look into this.

i7 930 @3.2ghz
Corsair H-50 CPU Cooler (looks cool, but not better than any premium air cooler)
Evga Classified 3-way Sli
Evga GTX570 in Tri Sli
Evga GT240
Corsair Dominator 6gig
Corsair 600t Graphite case
CoolerMaster Silent Pro 1000w PSU (This is being upgraded, as my CPU oc is causing my system to crash)

I am very happy with my system, and it tears up the original Crysis like nothing to bad the water down sequel is having flickering issues here is a picture link on the bottom.

Made this beast one month after the GTX580 come out.
Runs beautifully on the whole crysis series maxed out :D

Case: Coolermaster HAF 912 PLUS - Black
Power Supply: Corsair TX 750W
CPU: Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz OC'd to 4.00GHz
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth X58 TUF
Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B CPU Cooler. With an Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan.
RAM: Corsair Dominator 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz
Graphics Card: NVidia GTX 580
Sound: Platronics Gamecom 5.1 dolby USB headset.

Just need a 3D vision Kit when the price lowers though 120Hz 3D ready monitor well over priced!.

Happy gaming ;D

I have currentl been playing at high settings getting about 100fps
at a res of 1376x768
and when i turn up the res to 1920x1080 i get about 60 to 80 fps
now my specs are

AMD Phenom II x4 955
GTS 450x2 SLI
8GB of DDR3 1333 Ram
MSI 750a Motherboard
with a X-FI sound card

Core i7-860
Gigabyte P55A-UD5
G.Skill-Trident 4GB DDR3-1600
Sapphire HD5870 1GB
LG Flatron W2261VP (2ms)
ViewSonic VX1932wm WS (2ms)
WD SATA 1TB HDD x2
LG SATA 18x DVDRW x2
Pioneer 206BK Blu ray burner
Thermaltake Evo_Blue 750Watt PSU
Noctua NH-C12P-SE14
Logitech G15 v refresh
Logitech G9x

running @ 1920x1080 max settings, except for anisotropy @ 8x and no bloom, hate that ****. might try 16x and see how it affects performance.

Image

now we just need dx11 to really see how the game performs. i think it's using dx10 or possibly even 9. will have to look into that.
