Re: We’ve come up with solutions for the Xbox 360 save issue folks are reporting, along with a number of other issues being reported. We’re currently running final testing and certification on a comprehensive patch for all three platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), so we’ll have something available in the coming weeks. When we have more details, we’ll let you know.

In the meantime, an incremental update for PC should be going up by early next week that will fix the save corruption issues and problems with companions, as well as improve performance for NVIDIA users and resolve some issues reported with Havok.

Can you please advise what it is actually on the 'fix' list?
If your going for MS certification, you must have finalised what this patch will do. So can we PLEASE get some specifics?

I just want to know if the bug i am stuck with , is being fixed or not. Currently my game is unfinishable and will have to be restarted (strip locked glitch).

good luck getting an answer, one thing they do worse then properly debugging a game is the communication to the users of their products.

Oh I have ways of getting answers! But I wanna be nice before I get banned from forums and bounce emails to company directors.

I'd also love to see a list of "fixes." I've put my game on hold due to the Ant Nectar bug until the fix comes out, hoping it will solve my "-2 STR until the end of the game" problem. I'd love to know if I'm gonna have to scrap this character or start from scratch.

Yes, I realize that the addiction bug pales in comparison to the game save bug! I'm still frustrated nonetheless and would love to see this fixed, as I'd love to continue with this character I've invested a lot of time in. I'm hoping it will be resolved, considering it's super-easy to replicate in-game and presumably just as easy to fix with the patch.

I've seen quite a few of your posts on this forum. Why are you even here if all you do is argue against people who are having problems that want a fix?

You are confusing me with someone else. My posts acknowledge the glitches in this game (I've experienced a few myself) and I eagerly await the patch myself.

My post was intended as a joke to point out that the OP wants to harass the company with bombardments of email just because they haven't given us a complete list of the glitches that will be fixed. They've said that they are fixing the big game breaking glitch (DLC bug) among other things.

Absolute shambles of a game, complete waste of considerable time and effort. For all the money spent on the advertising campaign you'd think theyd have finished the game first before putting it on sale. Minor glitches are acceptable mistakes but this is by some distance the worst quality programming on any console game i have ever seen. A shameless example of a company short selling customers who have little chance of any refund or resolution to the many problems within the product.

You sound extremely immature. The developers of this game are busy preparing the second update. They don't sit around all day reading obnoxious posts like yours and responding to them. Go ahead and email them a bunch of times or whatever your weird little threat was, your such a bad as s

How was this post obnoxious? I will email them if i fail to get a resposnse, just as i woudl any other company that is not responding to a customer complaint. I've not demanded they FIX IT NOW! Or anything extreme.

How about you stop defending these peeps and let them do it for themselves, or are you paid to belittle legitimate copmplaints and requests?

Anyway ignoring the trolls, any details yet Beths?

I don't think every employee at Bethesda/Obsidian is a developer though. I'm sure every big company has some kind of pr dude

Besides that, there's probaly not much more to say than "we're working on it"

Sadly this DOES seem to be endemic to every game forum I've ever been on! Hopefully at some point the questions on the forum will reach critical point and they'll have to reply!
Here's hoping! lol!

Links or it didn't happen.
Seriously though I have checked and checked and checked and I see no list of bugs that will be fixed , just hints that it should fix the corrupted saves issue.
And I don't beleive me main query (strip locked) has had an official reply , EVER.
Thanks for the bump though!

No links are necessary you're in the right place you just need to open your eyes. They communicate to us through the first pinned topic on this forum. Check the same place on the general forum for slightly more info. That's all the info you're getting until the 2nd update arrives. Wait for it or sell your game.

Patch New Vegas on Xbox360 without Xbox Live.
In the area where I live, I can't get any internet connection that will allow me to log onto Xbox Live. And I can't very well carry my 360 to work or an internet cafe to get the patch. Is there any way to download the patch to a cd/dvd or usb drive and then apply the update from there onto my xbox360?
Please let me know.
