And you also need to buy additional character slots, just like he described.
And you also need to buy additional bag slots.
I'm sorry but all that is just very unacceptable from a high quality MMO.

They don't drop nearly enough. You could end up with 200+ lockboxes and only get something like 5 keys. It is blatantly saying to buy keys to open them. Now if the ratio was much better it wouldn't be bad.
I have never run out of bag space. Level 60, no problem with bag space. Ever. And do you really need so many alts?
Keys are extremely cheap on the AH in Rift. Lockboxes can go up to 300p, which can buy like 30 keys. So if you have 200+ lockboxes, you're set for both keys and lockboxes.
It's not about needing at this point.
What I am saying that the other guy described the flaws of B2P & F2P MMO's and these are the things he listed.
You then told him he's lying even though he never did. I'm just pointing that out.
But yes, I do need many alts. When I play MMO's I need enough characters to be able to have all professions maxed out so I can provide anything needed for the guild.
I'm sorry, that is just an excuse trying to make something ok that is blatantly trying to make you spend money to get something in game. I'd rather have a pay to play game where everything is reasonably gettable without anyone spending money specifically to get something.
You don't need that many alts in Rift. Crafting is basically useless in Rift. Plus TESO's crafting system will be different from other MMOs.
He said that,
Using Rift as an example, it had daily quests before it went F2P (WoW also has daily quests). There aren't a limited number of gatherable resources per day, you can gather as much as you want. There aren't insufficient inventory or character slots. You can buy some, but the ones you get for free are not insufficient. And the lockboxes do not offer much of a "reward." They are also very commonly found and you are not limited to buy them off the cash shop.
Keys drop often. Not very many people buy keys off the cash shop. It's a simple option to, and to support the developers. Anyone can get keys without spending anything.
Look at any sub game from the past 5 years too. Don't try that Texas Sharpshooter falacy crap and think you can get away with it.
You can't master all crafts on one character. They flat out said you could master 1 1/2 crafts. You'd need alts to master them all.
ZOS is reasonable. If they have character slots as buyable, they won't lock it out at 2 or 1. You'll probably have enough for all of them.
I think this thread and everyone involved are better served when it ends right here.
