Calgone:

The blackfish is honourable like Ned, but not to the point of Idiocy. I liked him from the second he appeared in the books, but especially when

Spoiler

he's holding riverrun against the Lannisters. he does a damn good job at that, and then slips away taking Robb's wife and unborn heir with him. Manabadman.

I also subscribe to this theory.

That's good, I like her character since she's seperate from Westeros.

I'd asume it'd be focused on Arya though since
Spoiler
Jaqen H'ghar teaches her the phrase

"Valar Morghulis" as the episodes name? Could be either Dany or Arya based, depends will they make J'ghar(or what's his name) give Arya the iron coin.

The big finale is probably

Spoiler
Dany in the House of the Undying, since it's much more action-y than Arya and Jaqen.

I always thought it was going to be the three horn blasts at the fist of the first men... first scene of season 3 would be sam and co running like [censored].

Which makes me wonder: How will they start season 3?

Spoiler
I'd love to see prologue from the book - The attack of the Others on the Night's Watch at the Fist of the First Men. The beginning of the first episode from the first season gave me a good scare.

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/06/01/wot-i-think-game-of-thrones/
In short, it’s a troubled roleplaying game but also a really interesting and strong one. Every misfire is met by a triumph of some sort, and the one thing it is not is a lazy, perfunctory cash-in. It’s an epic that doesn’t quite have the budget to be an epic, but strives its hardest to be one nonetheless. It’s much more like the kind of experience I’d hoped for from http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/05/11/risen-2-review/, which sadly turned out to be a stereotype-laden exercise in hollow jolliness. This is thoughtful, heavy with a sense of consequence and impressively nasty even despite stylistic and apparent budgetary failings. After the woeful Genesis, it’s also Cyanide very much making good on the huge license they lucked into.
Sounds like it's not quite the disaster I expected. Aside from crappy voice acting and a rather odd combat system, and that it's apparently hard to follow if you haven't read the first book or watched the first season of the show (but then you probably wouldn't be interested in the game anyway) it sounds pretty good. A game to keep an eye on for when it goes on sale, maybe.

With the exception of last week's 'Blackwater', the episode titles, like Harry Potter chapter titles, just seem to be oblique references to events in the episode - 'Baelor' wasn't just about Ned's shortening, 'Garden of Bones' wasn't a particularly Dany-centric episode, etc.

That's my impression anyway.

That's true, but I was implying more on the ending of the episode than the whole episode. But anyway, I expect Arya and Dany to have the main focus in E10.

So I'm wondering
Spoiler
if it's the Mountain who took part in the slaughter at Saltpans? I know the Hound was buried by the Elder Brother. But they say he has the Hounds helm.

It was Rorge. I think it's revealed in a chapter of Brienne when she finds the tavern where Gendry is.

It also made me realize that Cersei is so demented she just had to lick it off her fingers, just so she could say she ate Robert's "children". Lol.

I can't believe it's the final episode tonight.

I only have 100 pages left to go in aFfC. Who liked aDwD better?

Its better than AFfC, but that's not saying much. I didn't enjoy it as much as CoK or SoS.

I preferred AFFC...

ADWD does have
Spoiler
Victarion casually committing war crimes across the Smoking Sea, which was hilarious

Hmmm. Well if the Ironborn are in it that is a plus. The reviews of is book are extremely varied. So were the reviews for Feast. I've seen people on Amazon give Dance a 1/5 because they didn't like what happened with a certain character or they wanted something to happen and it didn't. Most reviews are social commentary and not really reviews.

I want to read a review where they actually....review the damn book. Does anyone know any good sites for book reviews?

Well, I'd say that more stuff happens in ADWD, but this comes at the cost of there being a ton of boring [censored] at the same time. I'll say it now: DANY. Dany in ADWD basically goes around being an awful ruler, which is frustrating as a reader due to the previous investment in this character. At the same time, there's a lot of great (and unexpected) POVs from a ton of characters, which were great to read, as well as a lot more events. Again, this has a flip side, as there are a few POVs which are frustrating in the fact that they don't appear: namely Samwell and Sansa, the former arguably having the most interesting set up in AFFC (but this could be personal love for the Maesters).

Tonight's episode was really cinematic near the end! It was movie material!
Spoiler
When Sam encountered the Wights it was epic! I think they did an alright job of showing how Xaro Xhoan Daxos was just playing Dany for her dragons. But I didn't get it when her handmaiden got caught sleeping with Daxos. They did a splendid job on everything else though.
