Skyrim saviour's hide is better than oblivion version, for a female character at least.
well i have the ring instead, so i dont really even know what it looks like
Well Indoril armors were beast! But maybe it was because of the people who wore them. Scary dudes  .
yeah, if they caught you wearing their armor they went ape [censored] on you unless you had permission from the guard cpt guy

You can get both you know? Side with sinding and kill the hunters...then kill sinding and you get the hide right then, and when you leave the cave you get the ring

Oblivion has the worst armor out of the three. what is DB armor? and it had goggles? Also lets not forget the fact that wearing exquisite clothes got you praise in Morrowind while in Skyrim you can wear fine clothing and still get called a beggar.

Skyrim's daedric looks like somebody was trying to make ebony but had a blacksmithing level of 2 (out of 100), in Oblivion the armor has a sideways mouth on the face and a CROWN of spikes. Not to mention the gauntlets have a big spike on them that looks like it was made for clearing brain matter. Skyrim's has no ornamentation or creativity
Skyrim's Daredric Armor looks nothing like ebony at all.

I really miss the Bone armor of MW, but I can understand it not being in Skyrim. I cannot for the life of me understand why MW-Bloodmoon's Wolf and Ice armors are not in Skyrim. Seriously?!

You talking about the Companions Iron armor? Not really the same as the Wolf and Bear armor of Bloodmoon.

If someone is playing a Ranger type in Skyrim I could see the wolf or bear armors being very desirable. The snow wolf and snow bear also.

Morrowind's armor always bothered me because of those damned gaps at the elbow. I'm probably the only one this is the case for, but hey.

Generally I prefer Skyrim's armors, but I wish you had more closed face helm options. Steel had two, but both of them were open - but it's a good place to start. Why not have multiple options for other armors?

See I thought they had too many closed face armor and not enough open faced especially with heavy armor

Heavy? It's about half.

Iron, Steel (both), Orc, and Dragon are all open. Dwarven, Ebony, and Daedric are closed.

Indoril, royal guard, bonemold, chitin, glass were all fantastic in Morrowind. I really like the iron armor in Skyrim. It's the only heavy armor that looks like it still affords some mobility (mostly because pauldrons always look clunky).

I feel like most of Skyrim's higher end armors are just spike armors. Like they all look almost identical. Bit different adornments, but all spikey. The Orcish armor in Morrowind was nice, it had a real samurai feel too it. The helmet sorta has that feel in Skyrim, but the rest is just spikes again. The shrouded armor in SKyrim makes everybody look like a bobble head. Beth needs to figure out how to do hoods properly.

Saviors hide is just a little too guady for my taste in Skyrim. Plus it doesn't let me wear any pants.
Well if they did do it and the armors did look better i have no problem with admitting it...although goggles on the DB suit? OBs is still better
I liked the goggles. They were on Chitin and Netch armor, too. Helmets have been generally trash since Morrowind.

I wish there were more varieties of armor, that fit somewhere inbetween the current tiers in progression, and that various types of armor had positives and negatives beyond just higher armor rating or enchantments.

I know what you mean, i think smithing can be expanded in skyrim to allow us to actually add/delete armor "parts" and maybe even use different metals on different armors (like the smithing mod).

maybe even have a trim/body color sliders that change color (to respective metals) like golden, silver, ebony, deadric ...etc
