Aye, a way to use alchemy for offensive effects that weren't a hassle. I mean, face it - poison's a pain to use. With splash potions, you could do all sorts of things. Just make a material that, when used as a third item, converts a potion into a splash potion. Some effects would be retained, but others would change. For example:
Weakness to Frost would remain Weakness to Frost...
Resistance to Frost, however, would change to Frost Damage
Fortify Restoration could change to Damage Restoration. Those pesky mage foes now burn through a lot more mana with their spells.
Since splash potions are offensive by design, it'd be rather easy to just have a simple conversion of most effects.
