Got a date, now I need a little pony...

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 10:58 am

I'd say dinner sans le Movie is a good plan. I agree that a movie might be a little antisocial for for a first date. Is she one of them ones that talks? I like those. I struggle when I constantly have to create the conversation...

I like those too. I also hate always making conversation as well.

Do you actually know anything about this girl? Just do something that she is in to. If she wants to see a certain movie, take her. She likes Thai, go to dinner. It's really not a difficult, complicated situation. You're making it way more stressful than it is. Basically, girls like it when you show some sort of interest in them and you make the date about them for them. It's like a gift. If you buy a girl a gift, you get her something you think she would like. You are taking her on a date. That makes it a gift. Same rules apply.

Why are you asking on here? None of us except YOU can possibly know what she enjoys and, therefore, what you should do. As I say, this really isn't hard.

People seriously underestimate coffee.
From what I gather, you think too much about what to do, what will be best, etc. Over-thinking only makes you nervous (not to mention hurt your chances)

Be casual, confident, funny and charming. It really does not matter what you two do as long as you have a good time together.

The girl I used to take horseback riding we used to go out for dinner afterwards. It was a lot of fun. I honestly feel this is by far the best idea here. Its unique in that I guarantee you that no one has taken this girl to a place that allows you to ride a horse. If she like animals, she'll enjoy this.

I win.

He specifically states in one of his posts that she does like animals. And, you are not hurting a horse by riding it.

LIAR! Horses scream when you ride them. It's the equivalent of riding on a labrador with a harness.

They don't scream, that's just their way of saying "If you fall, I'm gonna seriously [censored] you up!"

- Horse riding is epic, I remember doing it a few years ago, was one of the funniest things I done that year, would have kept it up but it was costing too much to ride them (One I got was a retired chapmion apprently and my brother's came 2nd to mine in a race :))

I can't tell if your serious. They don't scream. They say hello. They really don't mind having you ride around on their back. The saddles are very comfortable.

If you're a man, and your intention is to have six with a woman, generally it helps to get some alcohol into her system. If that isn't necessary in order for your odds of success to hover around 90%, that's usually made pretty obvious by her behavior.

Never take a woman anywhere that offers anything more than a place to sit, and drink, and talk. She doesn't automatically deserve to have tons of money spent on her just because you're very interested in getting laid that night. If she wants a relationship, that's fine, it's not like the pursuit of something meaningful can't be accompanied by the occasional indulgence in sixual pleasure simply for the sake of indulging in sixual pleasure. I think most people can agree that a partner is better than one's own hand, regardless of one's gender. We all get the itch, there's no sense in not scratching it. Just don't scratch your skin off, that's not good for you.

Umm... if you're being sarcastic, then please disregard my post.

Horses have been tamed and constantly ridden for such a long time that they have formed a bond with humans even closer than dogs. There were (and are) many horse-riding cultures in the world and I'm lucky to belong to one of them. I can confidently say that horses do not resent you riding them (unless you're very heavy, you don't weigh much for the horse's extremely powerful legs). It must be remembered that horses are intelligent and very delicate in their own right. They must be treated with care, kindness and respects and in return they'll give you the same. I am also completely opposed to horses being used in heavy industries like mining, which have conditions even humans can hardly handle (thankfully this has mostly stopped since the industrial revolution). It is also despicable when people beat their horses as the horse can hardly defend itself. Generally however, if horses are taken care of and given plenty of exercise, then there is nothing wrong with riding them. For example, a horse that knows you may actually enjoy running around with you on it's back more than running around by itself.

I was joking everyone. I thought I'd leave out an emoticon just to see how you'd all react. I'm sorry.

Well he's just a plain idiot. You don't do that to a horse, you'll stun it. He's lucky he didn't die. On the other hand horses are totally defenseless on their sides. BTW I've seen this vid before, and it made me laugh the first few times.
I'll add it wouldn't be funny if he didn't get up.

I agree. If she's putting it off, it's her weird female way of telling you she is no longer interested (telling you would be too humane, they like to drag it out and make it as hurtful as possible).

My one piece of advice when going on a date... make sure to take a plastic hat. You never know when it might get wet
