I wish Tuesday would hurry up and get here (it's the day I get paid), that Halo game I bought is burning a hole in the plastic bin where I store my other games and its been shouting at me to play it :ahhh: .

If you own it, why are you waiting to get paid?

I think that is what one of Bungie's problems were, they were moving more towards a multiplayer centered game like Reach.

But from what 343 has releases, it seems they got it back on track towards a solid single player. They also have said that the multiplayer actually has a purpose and somehow ties into the story of Halo 4, opposed to just shooting dudes. Then there is another new feature called Spartan Ops, every week new missions come out, that you and three friends can play, so that seems like a mix between the both.

They also claim that more story elements are being added.

343 is the perfect developer; where as Bungie was getting tired of Halo, 343 was assembled solely to make the next Halo games, and they all took the job because they love the Halo universe. :goodjob:

I'm expecting great things.

Have low expectations, trust me. It will make the game feel way better.

After Skyrim being such a personally crushing disappointment for me I decided I am going to expect the worst from every game upon release. Stay off the hype train man...

I also like how people from other companies quit their jobs just to work at 343.

So apparently 343 is making a live action web series. Supposedly there will be a new episode every week (unknown starting date) and each episode will be 15 minutes long.

It is about a cadet who is inspired by master chief and eventually becomes the admiral of the Infinity.

Can't play the game if I don't have the unit. I've always done this even as a kid, I'll buy a game a month in advance (it has to be a game I'm really looking forward to playing) then the next month comes and I buy the unit. To me it makes playing a game I've been waiting to play it that much more enjoyable. I know it's an odd habbit .

Edit:
Well I now own a 360 and I'm going to sit back and enjoy some Halo. My Gamertag is RRDMarine1981.

Just read something saying information about this won't come out until Comic-con this year, and that is two and a half months away. :swear: Curse you first world problems.

It's live-action and produced by microsoft, although Red vs Blue is amazing, I think this new thing will have much better quality. :)

Is it going to be similar to all the live-action bits on YouTube? I love those.

I think it being done by Microsoft will actually make it worse. Just saying. It'll be all about marketing and not quality content, and most everything live action based on a video game has svcked so far. Scratch that, everything based on a video game has svcked. Besides RvB's animation in seasons 8 and 9 is top notch stuff.

Oops, didn't mean made by Microsoft, but funded by them. I'm pretty sure 343 has taken on all the writing. Although i agree that their latest attempts to make Spartan armor in real life are adequate, they need to make it look less like plastic when they make it.

Also I'm not trying to be biased or anything, but I think Halo has had the best live action stuff for video games that I've seen. The only problem is that they have only done commercials, so writing isn't exactly important, but the visulas tend to look good... except the armor.

Sorta like... Landfall, I think. They've had a few. Live action Halo is a double-edged sword to me, because on one hand, it's really cool seeing great looking real-life armor and weapons; on the other, it always reminds me of the movie that still hasn't been made.

The movie Spielberg and Jackson were going to make? Universal got rid of that years ago.
