Don't have many other hobbies but I hope to make Airsofting a hobby as I am going for the first time soon. It is a bit expensive to go though so I doubt it will be a regular thing (maybe once every 2 months or something).

What is airsoft?

I suppose it is a bit like paintball, but more realistic (more like a milsim) in the sense that peopel dress up in army clothes and use replica guns that fire BBs. I've never been paintballing or airsofting but airsofting sounds a lot more fun.

Also I am learning the guitar that counts as a hobby.

This is airsoft, it's one of the very small games that got kinda thrown together. I'm the guy with the multicam pants/black top and full face mask with orange lens and tan plate carrier.. Nothing really happens until 6:00 then it's just me behind a RV in the makeshift town shooting people under the bus until I get shot in the face.

This is another event with hundreds of people from different states playing.

Second part of first video but i'm not in it so who cares. Just shows a little but more of the makeshift town that was decorated for a halloween event hosted there.

Airsoft tends to be more tactical in most areas, and hurts alot less. The problem is that the bullets are more susceptible to wind than paintballs are because they are lighter. Paintball is more fun because you cant cheat your way out of saying you did or did not get hit. They sell marking BBs, but they tend to gum up the gun.

It is another reason half of you stay here and the other half leave.
I am personally mezerized and a bit amused by evilfish's one.

I suppose you are right, but I'd find a tactical game more fun than running around blasting people with paintballs. I like the idea of it hurting a lot less too, my pain tolerance isn't very high :P

I love reading, it's probably my main 'hobby'. I don't do anything interesting otherwise, I never know what to say when people ask "What are you good at" and so on :P We had to pick a skill for DoE and I still have no idea what to do! I also find astronomy really interesting, there's a local club that holds meetings once a month and speakers come up from all over to give talks, not just on astronomy but physics in general. (Sounds exciting huh xD) But I like it :D.

Don't know if this counts but I got all six seasons of LOST on DvD for Christmas and have been watching it obsessively. I only started watching it on TV at season 5.

I'm a cast member on a cable access TV show about ghost hunting that airs in 22 cities in 11 states, including Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco (suburbs), Dayton, OH, Duluth, MN, Milwaukee, WI, Oshkosh, WI, Janesville, WI, and others, as well as four internet TV channels and youtube. We're on our second season right now, first season is on DVD. My wife and I just did our seventh radio interview last night. Been in several newspapers. We have a couple sponsors right now including Grebe's Bakery in Milwaukee, and Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn sponsored our last couple filmings. We recently hosted a sold out public ghost hunt at the Grand Opera House in Dubuque, IA (over 100 tickets sold).

From my profile- Reading ~ Music ~ Cars ~ Drawing ~ Modding
To add to that: I also do a bit of gardening, I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar (using self-teaching books), cooking (and eating :hehe:), watching movies and tv, thinking, photography, and collecting miscellanea (nothing in particular, just all sorts of things).

><
Oh yeah, I was reminded that I also have a collection of http://vometia.com/bits/swords.html which I'm gradually adding to over time. I'm not entirely sure if I should admit that it was inspired by my Oblivion character's collection of swords she'd been decorating her Waterfront shack with!

Nice collection, I wish that I had a pic of all of my swords handy, or at least a pic of all of the 'functional' ones and ignore the wall-hangers... well, except for the LOTR ones (Glamdring with a blue scabbard and Narsil).

Watching movies, reading, writing, planning zombie apocalypse scenarios, and collecting bottlecaps and ring pulls (Post-nuclear emergency funds  )

I used to like soccer, biking, and tennis, but they don't appeal to me anymore.

The similarities in our user names and our avatars is utterly bizarre.

I have a feeling that if we ever met in real life, we'd simply sit opposite each other in silence while using our eyebrows to pull strange faces.

I prefer to expunge useful information to make space for more crap, which is always more interesting.

Any burglar that breaks into Vom's is screwed.

Or, most likely, skewered.

True...but I'd prefer a musket or later 'device'.

Not a musket - one inaccurate shot that may backfire and then you have to reload? I'd take a sword over that any day.

Thanks, guys. :) I'm hoping that just glaring at any intruder (or perhaps moaning at them) would be enough to scare them off, and I do think that the Valkyrja would be a wonderful addition to Skyrim! I don't really do sword modding, though...

No, then you club them over the head with it until you're painting with brain matter, while the other slashes you with a pig stabber..

yeah, take the sword..

I'd already seen the pic's, but they're still beautiful
