Mr. House is a android

Victoria Watts, Zimmer, Armitage, Pinkerton and Harkness, the one the

Armitage and Harkness were the only confirmed androids in the game. Watts, Zimmer, and Pinkerton all have android parts in their inventories not because they are androids, but because Watts gives you that part to give to Zimmer as "proof" that the android is dead, Pinkerton did surgery on Harkness so he likely kept a part, and Zimmer, well, he's obviously not an android, you can figure that out by talking to him for even a minute.

And President Eden wasn't an android, he a was computer. Big difference.

Kill them. It's not in their inventory beforehand and they all have something to do with the Commonwealth/that quest. Although I think that Zimmer's probably a cyborg-ish person rather than an actual android. Victoria Watts has a piece after she gives you one (if you kill her), Zimmer has one (after you kill him) and Pinkerton does too (after you kill him.) And you very well couldn't pickpocket something off someone if it's in their body, now could you?

Hardly. It's all the same to me. Robot- AI with a mechanical body. Computer- AI without a moving "body". But in either case, I've had ENOUGH of "Oh yea, and he's a robot" plot twists... The ZAX should stay at the Glow and no where else..

Your theory is sound until you realize that Pinkerton being an android is impossible. He was born in 2217 and helped found Rivet City. I doubt the Commonwealth has been churning out androids for that long. Not to mention how Pinkerton went on and on about how amazing the Commonwealth's tech was when he finally got his hands on it. You'd think he'd already know that if he was from there. Zimmer being an android doesn't make sense either for obvious reasons. He could be a cyborg but that still doesn't mean he's an android.

Anyway, I'm confident Mr. House isn't anything but a human being. Using a computer to communicate with someone does not mean he's actually a computer.

I'm pretty sure Pinkerton wasn't supposed to be a robot, the others make sense though. Armitage is said to be one, that stupid girl I shoot in the face repeatedly every time she shows up could have been another reprogrammed robot trying to save others.

Really I think the only not deliberately stated to be an android NPC that actually was an NPC was Zimmer, it's too similar to Blade Runner not to have been deliberate.

Android, could you elaborate on why Zimmer being an android wouldn't make sense to you?

Other than the fact that he is unbelievably racist towards androids and makes that clear in almost every line of dialogue he speaks (He feels they are no more than machines, for example), he works at The Institute and creates androids, Harkness being one of his creations. I don't think an android would be trusted to create other androids, even if an android were somehow able to rise through the ranks from a simple slave to the position Zimmer has.

Unless Bethesda decided to make Zimmer an Uncle Ruckus who's racist towards his own kind, I just see nothing but evidence against his being an android.

I kind of figured he was programmed to dislike and hunt down other robots, probably unaware that he himself was a robot. Kind of like Blade Runner, only with hate.

Eh, I guess that's possible. I don't feel that was the case but it's possible. I guess it depends on whether or not Bethesda was really trying to base it off of Blade Runner in the first place, and if they were, how far they wanted to go with the homage to it.
