Yeah. If you have played Morrowind, the guilds always had requirements for you to join them and such. If you wanted to advance, you had to have the skills for it.
Also, many of the guilds interacted. The Thieves Guild tried to destroy the Cammona Tong who were allies with the Fighters Guild, who again were rivals of the Mages Guild.
The Temples competed and the Great Houses had friends and foes.
Vampire Factions too had much impact on your game. This is the depth I require.

I know I've said it before here, but I miss the Great Houses. And I had forgotten about the Temple! I just wish there were a couple of factions that you had to invest time and skills in. And I liked having to choose between them, and not being able to do them all with any old character. To me, it gave me more reason to play again with a different character. In Skyrim, I limit MYSELF to only joining appropriate factions for my RP character. A "good" faction for knights or crusaders would be welcome.
