Interesting. It's going to take a while for me to get a handle on how it's played.

How many cards in each caravan? The first part is spotty to me. Maybe I just missed it.

Edit: What does this mean? "1. Play one card and draw a new card from his or her deck to their hand"

What does "Play" mean? I thought we are trying to beat our opponent depending on the number of our cards. I guess it will all make more sense in game.

I read through the rules on IGN earlier, but I'm a little unclear on some of the details, let alone the strategy. It would be nice to see a video of people playing it to understand it better. Hopefully something will pop up on YouTube soon.

I honestly don't get the rules either .-.
(is there anyway for me to add a subtext to say "Official rules?")

Me too, can't figure if they mean the card you add adds to the value with other cards or that the number of the card you added becomes the value of the caravan.

There not very clear, something I always hate about reading on new card games, you have to be very specific and detailed in instructions.

Sounds fun, although I am still disappointed there is no Texas Hold'em.

It's like Blackjack. The combined value of your cards has to be between 21 and 26, the closer to 26 the better

oh ok, I though it meant that when the number goes up you could only add higher numbers, then I face palmed myself and remembered there are no numbered 11-26 cards lol.

I honestly think that this isn't user error, I think some of the rules are left out, like how many cards are in each caravan or what a "play" is. O well I guess it will be explained in better detail later. :sadvaultboy:

Edit: I've been over the rules more then 20 times and still I think it's their mistake.

Sounds a little complicated. I think I'll just stick to roulette, my favorite casino game.

Playing in real life, there is no maximum limit to the number of cards you can have in a caravan. In F:NV, I think caravans max out at six numbered (or ace) cards in a caravan + up to three face cards/jokers per numbered card. Practically speaking, it's pretty rare that you even get to six.

Caravan makes much more sense when you see it laid out and the F:NV interface makes the legality of playing cards very clear.

Good. Playing Solitaire on your computer is a whole different experience from playing it in real life, so hopefully Caravan will turn out to be really fun in the game.

I noticed they did't say how you bet on this. I have to assume, from the play style of the game that you must make a fixed bet before the start of the game and that there is no raising during the game. Is this correct?
