It's not necessarily more bugs, but the invisible armours and NPCs could have some potentially nasty side effects.
Perhaps the crashes I mentioned earlier were simply caused by the game attempting to load textures, meshes or animations that can not be found. It's anybodies guess really, but the game did crash repeatedly in Blackreach for example, which it never did before.
Since I also own the english pc version of skyrim and have experimented with mods quite a bit, I've had CTDs and corrupted save files before, and that usually happened when mods did not work properly or were incompatible. I once had a character with an invisible head for example and when I tried to reload an earlier save to fix it, all save files were corrupted. Corrupted game saves are annoying on the pc, but you can at least recreate your character in no time by using the player.advskill command. On the console however you just lose many hours of gameplay in a matter of seconds and have to start from scratch, so I personally wouldn't risk playing Dawnguard at the moment.
Fighting invisible enemies as an invisible vampire lord/lady is pretty lame anyway.
