A friend of my fixed it by himself.... just needed an usb-stick...

There you can see: A [censored] student (1 1/2 studying IT) is able to fix a [censored] game where a LOT of [censored] developers were working on, who had/have years of [censored] experience... And that [censored] team of developers isn't able to get it working...

Yeah, but whoever tested the localised version of Dawnguard apparently thinks it's normal when hordes of angry nudists attack you outside Riften. There's no fix for something like that. ;-)

bwuahahaha they should rename the entire studio bugthesda my friend

95% of the bugs/glitches can easily be avoided. 4% of them has been fixed. 1%, the few, are the ones that causes problems..

As for what is going on now, like I said. Prolly a mistake in translation and will be fixed quite fast.. It happened before to mods and other games..

I would be fine if they did,i dont care as long as it works but if they would have taken ONLY 5 minutes to load a save game,go to whiterun or any other city and see the Dawnguard NPC's without clothes/armor,they would have noticed instantly that something is wrong.Only 5 mins and this mess wouldn't have happend.

They prolly didn't thought of the possibility and like I said, this happened before with many different things.. Some people will use a quick auto-translation then upload their mod without testing it. I've seen it plenty of times. Just a common mistake and Bethesda is gonna fix it but will take time cause doing this by hand isn't easy, for sure.

HAppened to mods? nobody care dude mods are free and are correcting (for pc users) most of the glitches and are uploaded by amateurs.
Bethesda is a gaming studio with people getting paid to make a game comparing it with modders is a total non-sense.
Glitches happened in video games industry yeah for sure, who said it wasnt the case?

I think people who have paid for this [censored] DLC don't care of why, who, when, where, that is not our problem. We don't want explanations, we want A QUICK SOLUTION. Our problem is to be able te play with what we spent money for. The rest is only the concern of Bethesda and Microsoft.

Its not microsoft's fault if bethesda's figs version is broken they should have tested it first before upload it this is just called professionalism

I was explaining how common the mistake is. It also happened to games from other studios, and such. Heck, I've seen it happened before in MMOs like RuneScape... It is a highly common mistake and is normally fixed ASAP.

You are talking to a Modder as well as a Flash Creator. I have experience in this sort of stuff and trust me, it isn't easy to translate the language and it does take a while cause they have to go through every single little ID/Item and change whatever is needed to be change. Trust me, it is not an easy and short thing to do...

I am totally agree with you, but as I don't exactly know who's responsible, and i don't care anyway, i said Bethesda AND Microsoft. All what i know, it is that's not our problem! We are customers, and we didn't paid for this "joke".

i agree. It's not a simple task however i cant explain why they didnt saw anything, this is unbelievable... if youre a modder then you'll agree that changing ids dont make armors disapear certainly a problem with armor rating for npc but your character also appears nvde when wearing dlc armor so its not only a translation problem

1: They prolly didn't thought about testing it out.

2: Actually, changing the IDs do effect it. In the older TES games, Armors uses many different IDs. The main ID is the item itself while the others are all the armor's looks. Changing the Main ID does nothing but if you change the other IDs, then the Main one will be trying to read the original but cannot for the original aren't there anymore.. Therefore, the armor will have no looks and will just, well, show whatever you have under it which in this case will be your skin only.

3: It could also be the files, not the IDs. If they accidentally renamed all the files that are the looks, so to say, then this can cause problems and make everything invisible cause the game cannot find the original files that it is suppose to be connected to..

Basicly, to fix it. Bethesda gotta go thru every single ID/File and rename them back in order to fix the looks.. And they gotta do this for all languages they have..

Some info/update from the Admins would be great. The mistake has been done so telling the thruth about whats gonna happen and when is best for the customers. Negating and looking other way has always been the worst way.

Actually, that is Microsoft to blame. Not Bethesda. Microsoft controls the pricing of the DLCs/Add-ons while Bethesda only gets a certain amount of it.. I mean, you do know add ons/DLCs are free for Skyrim on the Computer, right? Last I check, they are.
