Translation (message from Xbox Live chat spanish technical support): "In case of any inconvenience about the microsoft points spent in that content, it's up to Bethesda providing a patch or game's update, which they will eventually upload to our servers and then you will be able to apply the update to your game. Regarding your inquiry about if we know about this problem, we don't have official information about it, but as soon as Bethesda provide us the patch or updated info about it, it will show as a necessary update of your console system, or at least we will inform about it in the xbox.com webpage"

So they seem to don't know anything about this, at least in Spain, this is too bad...

With the French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of Dawnguard on Xbox 360, we are aware that players are seeing NPCs with missing armor. This is due to a version mismatch with the title update for those languages and we’re working with Microsoft to resolve it. We’ll let everyone know when it is available, and it could be as early as tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience.

Microsoft is trying to pretend to do not know anything about this, and Bethesda is basically saying that the mismatched version it's MS fault.

So they seem to don't know anything about this, at least in Spain, this is too bad...

Seems to me that they are blaming each other.
Some users here claim that a version miss-match can't be patched at all, that microsoft is to blame and that the xbl support is simply not up to date/has no idea what's going on. Why can't someone just tell us what exactky they are doing to fix the problem, and when a fix is going to be available? Surely they must have some idea, if there are so many rules and guidelines to follow?
Oh, and preferably in simple english this time... because I for one had no idea what a 'version miss-match' is until another forum user explained it to me.

I got an idea. So maybe the title update (i guess it was 1,6) is the version mismatch. What happens if we delete that update (cause it is a single data on my HDD) and then download Dawnguard again. Could this step make the addon work properly?

He's some kind of Bethesda affiliate. If not, i can't understand how he says always the same. That initial info from Bethesda and nothing are the same. It is like if you buy a brand new car and it has a malfunction that won't let it turn on, and the seller says: Hey man! Just don't worry, you have paid for it but you won't get it until we repair it...as early as tomorrow (that could be tomorrow or not), but, hey your money is already ours, and we won't refund it, so just wait and wait until we (want) to repair it!!!

No wont work mate because 1.6 adds in the ability to load DLC content. Without the 1.6 patch the game itself wont see the dawngaurd DLC and ignore it.

We do not allow petitions, or links to petitions elsewhere, on these forums.

The german Xbox support did not know about the patch as well. But there is a Bethesda support number you can call in Germany. It is 069 50070071. Mo-Fri from 9:00 - 18:00. It is to late now but I will try tomorrow.

A petition is a kind of plea...we are not begging for someting, we are demanding what we paid for. So i resent the word "Petition".
But never the less..I think a lot of steam would simply go away if Bethesda would make some statement like

We are aware of the issues, we are working on it
and a reasonalble timeframe

so we would know "okay, we have to wait for ... ... days and then we get it.

Fishy annoucements like "tomorrow" will only get more people upset if those promises are not kept.

Right now we are all hanging in mid air, fuming and waiting for any kind of news and get more aggrivated by the hour.

This is counter productive for everyone.

The public relations department of Bethesda ....does such a department exist in that company..would be responsible.

They are not doing their work.

So now we have 3 departments now to adress which need an overhaul regarding their employees

1. Quality Control
2. Programming
3. Public Relations

Yep and people are still saying that Bethesda have made no statement on the problem. They are aware of it and are actively participating with MS in getting it resolved for everyone having the mis-match problem. Thats all the info there is, and as soon as its resolved everyone in these threads will know about it and can then get on to playing it.

If you mean G-staff he is a Betheda employee. If you mean me, Im posting information that people have either ignored or missed. As I said Bethesda know its a problem and are trying to get MS to sort it out. Its not the first and not the last error that MS staff have made on LIVE.

I know one thing for sure: if i don't have the product fixed as far as tomorrow, i will go to the consumer protection office and denounce MS and Bethesda for have taken my money and without knowing even when will i get what i've paid for, and I have paid for Dawnguard (full content) but i don't have it (it's fully malfunctional). It's as simple as this, there's no more. It's enough for a Court to begin a process.
