Invisible armours, Death Hounds and more bugs! #5

I want my money back. Nothing more. Paid for something broken. I want a refund. I never said Bethesda is the one to blame. I don't care really. They've done some crappy work on the testing probably. And they are taking their time with the fixing. Its them lossing custommers. Not me. By the way. I am pretty shure the screwing comes from microsoft...

Phone MS support or post in the MS LIVE forums or email MS support directly. Its MUCH faster than going through an intermediary.

And exactly what kind of "legal Action" do you think you can access? You simply cant sue someone for oodles of cash. If you want a refund speak to Microsoft, THEY took your money for the MS points. Its it they who are responsible for any such refund, which is all you are entitled to under EU law.

Well i'm a spanish lawyer so i don't need anyone, just me to iniciate the action and represent myself. I'll just claim for my money back, don't want anything else.

All of this stuff is bad enough in its own right, however I cannot stop from thinking what is going to happen when these people run into game breaking glitches in Dawnguard? I have this image in my head of them finally getting a patch so everything works "fine" and they can see what they paid for, and then they run into a glitch where the dlc can't be completed anyway lol. I don't want to be at that person's house at that moment, that is for certain...

With the"oh they will patch it sooner or later, dont worry" attitude nothing will ever change in the gaming industry.Dont be spineless jellyfish!

You want to change the gaming industry? Have you literaly gone mad? I mean who do you think you are??? You are just a overreacting childish worthless guy who is a bit pissed because the latest Skyrim DLC got delayed...calm the [censored] down, you can't change anything neither of you can and by the way there is no need to change anything either... you just need to wait for a day or 2 that can't be that difficult. I mean you need to be 16 to play skyrim so why don't you act like you are (at least 12...that should do the trick).

I don't see this as crying really. I just realized I won't buy a Bethesda content, whatever it is, day one , never again. Always liked they view and products, especially the Fallout vision. Not falling again. I will wait months, or more, to buy things in a reduced price an GOTY versions, if it even comes to that...

Translate this please.

Well the industry has been changing for the forst the last years. The ability to patch thing afterwards has ruinned a lot of it. The games are more expensive to produce so they take them out without even being finished to start compesanting losses. Its kinda logical. "We will patcch it later..." Not so ethical...

Frank, the law you are referring to is the EU sales law which I am well aware of. EU law says specifically that you are only legally entitled to a replacement or a refund at the point of sale. The last part is crucial. The point of sale is either the retail store if you bought an access code, or MS live if you bought points. Neither is the responsibility of Bethesda.

Well belive it or not, i'm, and in Spain and in Europe in general, there are communitary laws (the ones from the European Court) that assists all of the European Community citizens: at least, we have the right to retrieve our money if we don't get the product that we have purchased inmediately (it's called mutual consideration as legal figure) For your understanding: you pay something, you have the right to own the full product that you have paid for. It's simple. Any court will give me the reason. As simple as that I've paid for Dawnguard, and because of that i haven't it fully operational, I'm in my right to claim my money back as a consumer.

I understand and appreciate that there is a lot of frustration and annoyance that the FIGS DLC has given problems, it is being worked on and will be re-released or patched as soon as it can be, although I have no information as to when.

However, I have to ask you all to keep within the forum rules. There will be no petitions,

If you have any doubts then read the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/ you all agreed to abide by when you registered here. If I see any more flaming, flamebaiting, vulgarity or any thing else then some of you will be sitting on the sideline for a few days with a warning under your belt.
