Robin Williams Sound : "Gooood Mooorrrnning, Skyrim!"

Oh, please, calling support prior to a cup of coffee is lethal, for the poor people at support as well as any of us.

Hanging on my cup of coffee for dear life.

I called the microsoft support in germany. The told me to call the Bethesda support. So I called the Bethesda support in Germany. They told me, that they get their informations from the forums! For more information I should contact Bethesda us. So I wrote several emails and, what a surprise, didn`t get an answer.

Nice how one guy can make mods and translate it and what a shame how a whole company fails to bring a patch out or translate a game.
So what we learn: Patching a game with a whole company is impossiibruu ;p

that's kind of the worst thing to think about...I mean if Dawnguard would have been online for PC first, I bet somebody from the community would have solved the issue by yesterday.....

Actually, I am sure you are correct. The modders community is extremely good out there. I have both versions of Skyrim, for PC as well as for Xbox 360. They would fix that error in no time and upload a working patch. No hassle at all. So lets face it: We are now fighting not incompetent quality control, or game testers not being asked to test something in advance, we face buerocracy, Microsoft certificiation procedure that is.

Lets hope some people there have a consciousness and rush the certification along asap.

That wont solve anything at this point. And btw, don't know why, but i have the impression that we won't get the fix until next week.

Now now....imagine you are sitting in support.

I know we should not let go and poke and poke but the lady in support, I talked to her several times during the last 2 weeks ( I am one of the unfortunate idiots that happen to have a UK Skyrim version and cannot get an UK version of Dawnguard, no matter WHAT I do, so when I first got Dawnguard, I suspected the nvdeness was a result of that and litherally RIPPED them apart until I was told it is a problem in ALL europe. Actually that was a relief for me, knowing something still might work out eventually even if I have to wince while listening to the German voices )

Keep the calls moderate. Dont call every five minutes....we are a lot of people here, and the poor lady in German support is probably already down with her nerves. She already sounded pretty awful when i called yesterday. What can she do except saying "Sorry, no more info, look at the forum ( that is here!). And maybe when this ....unpleasant ...situation...is over, we should send her some chocolades. She is just the poor woman that got the beating. From her accent and name i think she is located in Spain. But her German is excellent.
