Definitely, man. It usually requires me assuming Vampire Lord form to even do considerable damage to them. I appreciate the challenge, but still, yeah, they're definitely a nasty opponent to fight.

Wasn't that the point of them?

I wouldn't know. I'm only level 68 at the moment.

It'd be funny if one of them was named Trogdor

I need to assume werewolf form to actually get close to it

Well people were saying that dragon's were to easy to kill and needed to be more of a challange. Sometimes you do get what you ask for. None of my characters are high enough in lvl to meet one, yet.

It's extremely difficult for my pure mage character to fight an ancient dragon, can't wait to discover how horrible legendary dragons are. (900 magicka, 120 health)

What level do you have to be in order to be able to have a fair fight with a legendary dragon?

Wow.
Of my 3 characters, two are around 60 and the third is 73. Didn't realize that the legendary dragons were so brutally overwhelming. But that's the way it should be anyway.

Yeah I haven't even got a character beyond level 70, but that was before DG and these new beasties were added for higher level characters. This time with DG im going all the way to 81 even if I have to stand around grinding skills for ages. I wanna take on some high end beasties and kick some botty.

Hmm. This should be interesting when it finally releases for PC. I have the Deadly Dragons mod installed that makes dragons more challenging. Interesting indeed.

Well im at level 35 atm and I still aint got a skill at 100. Just use all the crap skill you dont like early on to level with, so that later in the game the skills you do use keep leveling you up.

They are not difficult for my wood elf. One-handed, Block, archery, heavy armor, sneak, and a lot of powerful enchantments.

I've been ready to face one for quite some time. The revered dragons have not really been a problem except when they hit me with the drain vitality shout 2 times in quick succession. Then I need a potion. I doubt the Legendary are anythiing special, just more health. I wish they would show up at a lower level, like 70. Grinding all the way to 78 ain't no fun (and is costing me bucket loads of cash for training sessions at every level.)

Are you kidding me? Dragons are a joke on a proper pure mage character. If you have -100% destro cost + dual cast stun + thunderbolt you can perma stun lock a dragon to death and he won't do a single thing to do.

The idea that Legendary Dragons only get on to standard leveled lists at level 78 makes me question whether Bethesda even understands how their own game works. Having Speech, Pickpocket, Lockpicking, and Illusion skills in the 90's is not going to help you fight a dragon. You could max out your combat/crafting skills at level 50-60 if you never picked any locks, picked any pockets, sold any items, or cast a single illusion spell. (The only illusion spell I ever use is muffle for training purposes.) Level 78 does not mean you are finally combat ready for a "LEGENDARY" dragon, it just means you're a maniac who power-leveled a lot of useless skills to fill out your perk tree.

Like I said, you can find a Legendary Dragon at level 50. Level 78 is when they spawn at Dragon Dens.

It seemed too easy for me, idk what was up with them, I liked that they talked more though, first time I noticed any dragon talking, and their new models are nice, but why are they so easy to kill, even easier then ancient dragons, they must of did it because of the achivement to get one, I swear achivements are forcing devs to make their games easier so everyone can get it...
