DLCs can be both big and small, EXPANSIONS however i suspect will be bigger?
Bethesda never did expansions, they always called them dlc and nothing else.

Seriously, they said DLC are going to be just as big as shivering isles. Half as big is a HUGE disappointment for me.

I could've sworn the Shivering Isles was called "Expansion".

I believe it was called expansion because on mine it's called expansion. Knights of the nine was the largest DLC for oblivion.

My mistake, sorry. They called all of them "expansion" in Oblivion (even knight of the nine, eternaldarkness), and they called them "dlc" in fo3.
I dont think they will use seperate names just to confuse people regarding the average size of dlc/expansions now.

Look, I think it is safe to say that they will release DLC in all shapes and sizes. Weather you want to call it DLCs or expansions doesn't really matter.

It didnt matter to me at all, someone implied that bethesda uses 'expansion' for big add-ons and 'dlc' for small add-ons, which is not true.

Also, it is not safe to say that they will do that. They didnt do that in fallout 3, their most recent game. Im not saying they do it exactly like they did it with fo3, though.
Half the size of SI is pretty disappointing after they said the dlc will be around the size of SI.

So does this mean that Vampires do not constantly loose health per second?

Half the size just to clarify could mean half the stuff or half the data size. It was unclear to me which. If it is half the data size it could be larger than Shivering Isles. Also they are releasing two upcoming DLCs at the same time.

Wait wait wait.
Two DLC at the same time?
"half the size" of what they planned on doing?

Great, they split the original dlc up and get twice the money

Sure sounds like that's the case.

Sounds like I'll be embracing the dark gift in this game with my Dunmer :)

Huh, once again they've made it so the less you feed, the more powerful you are. I've never understood this. Just one more thing i'll be modding i guess.

It's TES lore, what exactly do you not understand?!

I want to know how it works this time though. Is it like Oblivion where they have a magical fixed amount that never goes down? Or is it like Morrowind and the others where they simply have gold and they run out eventually and get more as time goes by? I for one hope its like Morrowind. Oblivion system made it so easy to just dupe stuff and sell it for money.

You have to wait for vendors to restock money.

Edit: it is like Morrowind.

"Rare weapons and Armour and other gifts can be bought for premiums"

This scares and confuses me. Can somebody elaborate further? If it means what I think it means, I'm going to be very disappointed.

I had the same question....

But seriously, i got agitated at first, but then it was like "... Wait.. Wtf can they give the players gamewise that we couldnt just mod in?"

Unless beth is just gana be like "rofl pay $$ for this thing that does more damage", because i'll be like "rofl, look at this thing i just put in game myself thats even better", but i doubt theyre that lame. Would be funny though. Maybe they'd also offer some bonus XP for 24 hours...

Perhaps i'm thinking its more ingame content, like being able to buy high level crafted items with gold.

"Werewolf cons:

No magic abilities
No health regeneration
Can regenerate health by eating flesh"

Does this mean no health regeneration only in werewolf form or all the time?
