Long awaited news

I hope it's in game stuff

I hope to god it isn't.

Anybody remember how you could buy all of the guns and gadgets for a class in Battlefield: Bad Company 2? I don't want something like that. Here! http://www.allfreelogo.com/images/vector-thumb/business-man-prev1242376414APpsS4.jpg

Seriously, this is TES were talking about. Maybe that would work on 360/PS3, which admittedly is most of the consumer base, but it would never fly for PC users. We'd just mod in everything our selves.

That being said, i'm fairly confident that the console gamers would rage...

Unless were talking like, another horse armor here...

I trust they wouldn't do something this stupid, we all know how well the whole "Horse Armor" deal went over. Not to well if my memory serves me correctly.

I am a console gamer. While I wouldn't rage - you don't HAVE to buy it, after all - I would just be disappointed in that kind of a move. I mean, in the past they've done things like Mehrune's Razor, but...you had to WORK for that. You had to run through a huge dungeon in order to get it. When I see the word "premium" I get a mental image of fair-haired chaps in polo's with golf jackets tied around their shoulders, drinking the finest cognac.

"Yes. We can buy these nice things. We're premium." *Winksmile*

And then facedesk.

Does anyone remember Fable III? How they had DLC armor/weapons you could buy? Is that what they mean?

This is precisely what I'm thinking of, and I do hope not.

"Werewolf cons:

No magic abilities
No health regeneration
Can regenerate health by eating flesh"

Does this mean no health regeneration only in werewolf form or all the time?

Only during werewolf form I'm sure.

Again, you couldnt mod Fable III (legitimately anyway), and I highly doubt bethesda would pull something that would force a situation where their largest population of players were put in a position where they had to pay for something the PC users didnt...

Named ones dont

Also i dont see how anyone could be dissapointed with the dlc
It seem they are taking the oblivion/fallout route x2
They are
Releasing two "massive" dlc which are half the size of an EXPAnSION PACK.....
And they arent even mentioning the other dlc's they halve planned
As well as there big expansions

I wouldnt be surprised to see an expansion come out thats twice the size of SI
Some of these forum members assume to much

Todd Howard explicitly stated no more "Horse Armor" fiascos, I doubt we'll see a return of something like that. Who the hell would charge for weapons that should rightly be in the vanilla game itself?

I'm hoping for an expansion the size of Blood moon, knights of nine, and shivering isles combined with an extra 50 hours on top of that.

Fixed that for you. It's more likely than Bethesda making an expansion that big.

Are you sure this time, EternalDarkness? Your last thread about DLC got locked. You came up with a lot of facts and they were proven false.

Huh, once again they've made it so the less you feed, the more powerful you are. I've never understood this. Just one more thing i'll be modding i guess.

IMO, it should be flipped around. Ya know, some incentive to actually feed? If you wana keep your vampiric abilities you keep feeding, otherwise they fade away and you become visually more... not pretty...

It fits TES lore. It's because of a pact with Clavicus Vile. It's backwards by RL vampire myths, but not by TES vampire lore.

Yes. I specifically said the DLC was an unconfirmed rumor. This stuff is true. From many sources.

Re-read that quote I posted. I changed "expansion" to "mod" because I doubt Bethesda will make an expansion THAT big. Modders on the other hand.............

Todd has been known to make statements that "Expansions aren't cost effective" and also "We want to do DLC that is between Fallout 3 and Shivering Isles". We MIGHT get an expansion. I think more than a few will be around "Point Lookout" and "Knights of the Nine" in size.

It is still a pretty good deal. He has also made the statement that gameplay enhancements aren't out of the question either.

DLC half the size of SI? It better be good and have new gameplay mechancis etc. And we better get an expansion that is 1.5x bigger than SI. They should do High Rock :D
