My 360 unit is the Kinetic ready 250 GB model (it doesn't come with the Kinetic but I might get that next month). I try watch how long I play it for but sometimes I end up lossing all tracks of time pending what games I play on it.

I absolutely despise Mass Effect 2. I loved 1 to death. I didn't touch 3 because of my hatred of 2 (and because of EA). 2 was just too bland and the story was okay but the final boss was terrible.
I agree with you even though I didn't hate 2, the story was weak compared to the first. You should try 3 though, it's amazing. So many tames I nearly broke into tears. Maybe give it a shot after Bioware "fixes" the ending.

As for Netflix on Xbox my only complaint is that you have to search movies by title and can't do so by Genre,Actors,or Director. For shows with multiple episodes you just pause..tap down with the stick..then tap to the right.Takes about 3 seconds.

Yeah, it does take 3 seconds, but it's an annoyance. When a fly is buzzing around your head, you don't just let it stay, do you? You wave it away, or smack it. That's how it is with the wildly anti-intuitive, messy Netflix interface.

Seconded! Braid was amazing. Completely pretentious (yet still interesting) story, but the gameplay was amazing.

What exactly do you mean? I use Netflix for about 2-3 hours a day on my 360 (don't have cable). There's a 250gb monthly cap on my DSL, you wouldn't think I would hit that would you?

Also for some reason when I watch Netflix on my 360 it'll show 3 bars on the signal but not HD (unless maybe the content I watch isn't in HD, but I would think most things are) whereas when I used Hulu it would always be in HD.

I wish I could sort of monitor my bandwidth usage, but I'm not sure if there's an option for that anywhere through my internet provider.

Anywho, yeah I use my 360 as much for Netflix and media as I do for games and I enjoy it.

Also for XBLA games, I recommend Trials Evolution. It's a blast. Frustrating, but addicting, and the multiplayer is awesome. Torchlight is a good one too, and in two weeks Minecraft should be pretty cool.

HD takes a minute to kick in.I have the same thing happen but tap down on the controller about a minute or 2 into amovie or show and you will see its playing in HD.I just wish Netflix had the option as Zune,as to wether or not you want to watch a movie in SD or HD.Also as far as i can remember either US Federal court or the Supreme Court, didn't pay much attention at the time when the article came out a year or 2 ago,was that cable and phone companies cannot limit or charge you extra for your bandwidth usage unless that is expressly stated in your contract.

On my days off i'll sit and watch monster and Sci-Fi movies all day long, which is one of the reasons i wished Netflix had an option..as i don't want to be a bandwidth hog.Watching a movie,or show,in SD is around 1 to 1.6 GB..Watching the same in HD is around 5-7 GB..Honestly though i pay $10 a month for XBL another $8 for Netflix and about $80 to my phone company for the internet package. How is me paying paying $100(to several different entities) and watching several movies or shows a day,or twice a week, any different then someone paying $80 a month and watching cable 24/7 for 30-31 days.

I'm going to date myself..back before modern cable boxes and DVR and all the goodies we have today.Entertaintment could sometimes take several minutes to tune into.

There were these things called antennaes that you would have to adjust to get a signal for basic TV or if you had cable the box had knobs and dials that you had to set to get a station like HBO or Cinemax.

Those were dark and archaic days..if you wanted to play Atari then you would have to unhook your aerial and hook up your system to screws..yes screws..in the back of the TV and Vice Versa.

It was a strange and superstisious age where man still feared daemons and a charge of witchcraft was not unknown.Disease and sickness ran rampant as medicine struggled to find cures.War..Poverty.. and Injustice ran rampant. No one was safe.

Just play the games and systems you like.

I'm not advocating impatience. There's nothing wrong with stating that, by today's standards, a certain system just isn't as good as it could be. Anyone who knows me can tell you I have an irrational fear of the digital age and I loathe the idea of instant messaging, so please don't just write me off as some kid who expects everything delivered to him on a silver platter.
