Ha ha... Yes, it will be painful, but I feel somewhat morally obligated to help fellow PC players around the world. :P

Haha.. 1920x1080. Decided not to go for eyefinity multi-monitor setup. Just hook it up to my 50" Plasma

Have to go to sleep soon but I'll bookmark this thread so I can see how it went when I get up in the morning.

I haven't yet. I live in Sydney. It's unlocking in just under three hours here. Currently pre-installing it off the disc.

Can't wait to see the pics! My 30" monitor is 2560x1600 and I'll be curious to see if I can run it maxed out at that resolution as I can for every other game I've tried so far.

Oooooooh! Lucky you - I really want to get one of those uber-widescreen monitors - they're glorious!

I will be playing at 2560x1440 though - so nothing to sneeze at. ;)

Ok. I, for some reason, inferred you were going to be playing for three hours and then be back to post some pics.

Overkill.

Damn right it is. Went from a 24" to 30" and the difference in screen real estate is incredible. I'm going to snap some shots of my own and maybe upload them if I'm not too lazy and reactivate my photobucket account.

You people with your multiple monitor etc. setups. I like my plain ol' 1920x1080...not really into the super-wide for games. Does make for very cool screenshots tho!

I was asking myself the same. I got the game, but Steam won't let me install it unless using pre-download.
