Mismatch with the German, French, Italian, and Spanish versi

But when Bethesda is telling the truth, and the patch is in Microsofts hands now, i do not understand why they do not try to release it as quick as they can. I mean, as far as i understood, they paid Bethesda, so that the DLC's would be exclusive to XBOX 360 for a Month, but as longer Microsoft waits to put them up, the less worth is the deal they made.

Swearing heavily is no use.

I'm not gonna lie, part of the reason I love this thread is because I'm learning swear words in various different languages. :D
The more this patch delays, the more bad words I get to learn.

Not to mention the bad publicity from all over europe, which they . . . seem to really not care about . . .

''Microsoft has informed us that the title update addressing NPC issues for the French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of Dawnguard may not go live. We are waiting with Microsoft to ensure that the title update is released some day and will let everyone know if it becomes available.'''

If I get 1€ for each unreliable company I know, I would now get 1€ more than before.

How did that happen, may I ask?

Are you a German who opted for the english version but got the German DLC because of your location?
If so, that's one more reason for me not to buy this DLC as I'm in the same boat.

That's exactly what has happened. My main game is in english, the DLCs audio is in german (I'm from Austria). Pretty much ruins the whole experience. Unfortunately you have no choice when you've only got a german/austrian account - it'll automatically download the german DLC. While subtitles and the whole game are in english you get the german audio files for Dawnguard ....

And they're going to release a MMOrpg.
They can't even fix bugs in a single player game.

I'd hope this doesn't happen on Steam, though it's certainly possible it could be the same.
Steam will let you select the language you want to download a game in, as long as it's not region-locked due to censorship (Germany! :swear: ). I've never tried buying a DLC after getting the base game in english though.
Does Xbox allow you to pick the language a game is in? If not, then Steam (PC) users might have more luck, but if Xbox lets you pick the language aswell, then this might be a general issue across all platforms...

The quote was my interpretation. But now we have no fixed date again, and nobody knows when we will get the patch.

Release dates:
26.6. -> 10.7. -> Monday -> who cares -> ??? :down: will be continued...

Well if Xbox updates weekly (on Tuesdays), then I would assume it'd either come out tomorrow or next week, though it might be best to brace yourselves for worse-case scenario at this point instead of hoping and praying for the best-case.

Let`s keep it fair, the MMo is not developed by Bethesda Game Studios it's developed Zenimax Online, and i must say that i didn't had much problems with bugs in Skyrim, non game breaking bugs at least, but don't ask a ps3 user about his opinion of skyrim.. But normally you try to do thing better then before not worse... but not Bethesda with Dawnguard, even the english version is full of bugs, at least they can play the dlc and if the game breaks they can make a new character.

I own lots and lots of XBox 360 games I bought from the UK and they all work in english with the DLCs also in english, all downloaded from the austrian Marketplace, so I didn't even consider this not being the case with Dawnguard. You can imagine my level of surprise when suddenly a guard talks to me in german. I was just really, really annoyed and I fear I'll be stuck with this annoyance, since I doubt Bethesda are going to do something about it. Well, lesson learned, I guess.

Microsoft could at least make this one time an exception from their "Tuesday-Patchday" policy, its not like the game is a bit buggy but ok, IT IS UNPLAYABLE!! DAMMIT!

That's really odd. Dunno why they'd go back on this feature, limiting people on the language choice...

I think that the patch will go live in at least one week. Because, I hope, the devs will take some days to accurately test the game, now.
So stop wasting your time on the forum, and go to do something useful for the community: create funny memes on Bugguard :P

Might be the sheer amount of dialogue, might be just because they want it that way. I have no clue why they're doing this. The only thing I know for certain is that it's really, really annoying ;)
