Might be the sheer amount of dialogue, might be just because they want it that way. I have no clue why they're doing this. The only thing I know for certain is that it's really, really annoying :wink:

Can't imagine it'd be the amount of dialog. New Vegas holds the world record for most spoken dialog in an RPG, and all of it's DLCs were offered in english, right?
So Dawnguard by comparison would be a drop in the bucket...

I think that the patch will go live in at least one week. Because, I hope, the devs will take some days to accurately test the game, now.
So stop wasting your time on the forum, and go to do something useful for the community: create funny memes on Bugguard :tongue:

I remember the time in Fallout 3, where every country got the dlc on the same release date and it was never bugged (some ppl will say now that The Pitt was the same bughell then Dawnguard but for me the german version of thepitt worked perfectly from day1)

Bring back the old times Bethesda, and not "Beta-Testers" for a dlc, lol. We don't want a delay only cus we're from europe, in the past it worked with every dlc!

No one lied to us and they can′t tell us a release date because Microsoft has to certificate the Patch. But i bet MS has told them when to expect the Update. So Beth could tell us when to expect it!

At least the delay isn't Bethesda's fault. Beth fixed it quickly then sent it to Mic.

yes but bethesda had time since 26 of June to work on European version
now,20 days after,microsoft don't want to release patch on monaday!

I would like to know why they need so long to dub the dlc into another language. I mean in the past it worked for every dlc!!!
Bugs and glitches can happen i dont blame them for that, but actually the dlc should be out for everyone on june 26! I know bethesda uses now another company or something to dub it but why do they need so long? C'mon the german voices arent that good >.=.< but atleast skyrim feel more "North" like with german voices, really! xP

BTW, I've contacted the italian xbox live support, the guy at the phone told me that they can't proceed to a refund for the DLC and that because Bethesda is the seller we must ask to them for having our money back.

C'mon bethesda and microsoft !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -.- im not mad about the broken dlc or the fact that it will be patched when i am 80 years old, its pissing me off that u make us think it could be very early and 1 minute before the release date of the patch u say something different -.- .
just say us when the dlc is expected to arrive!!!!!!!! wednesday???? next week???!! but dont say anything about u know that isnt possible!!!!!!!!!! :swear:

Why are you surprised? When you are about to buy something on Xbox Live, there's a very clear text on the right that says you'll not get a refund. That's what reviews are for, to hear rumors of problems from a game.

First i had take one day of at June 16. to play Dawnguard only to hear 3 days before the release of DG that they release the FIGS version of DG somewhere mid july at first i was upset but then i thought ok that fits for me because i planned my Holiday for mid July, enough time to enjoy Dawnguard, But now i have only one week left from my vacation and still no way to play Dawnguard although i paid for it. Thats one hell of a perfect Summer vacation... no Dawnguard patch in sight and the Summer weather till now is.. hmpf very British to say the least.

tell me one dlc where you had to wait longer than the english speaking countries. (dunno how it was with oblivion, i bought all dlc like 4months after their release cus i never had the money)
