You seem to forget about the 30 day exclusivity. ;)
Unless that exclusivity was for the american market only, PC & PS3 players won't get to play anytime soon.

If we only had enough power, man!
We should change the whole system!
Like: They release DLC, we play and if it works, we pay . . .

Lack of respect for telling the truth? Well the truth isn't always nice to hear. I find them to be very fair, instead, because they didn't say "the update will be released", but "is expected".

Maybe I'm cynic, but I'm starting to think a patched version will be made available for all versions at the same time to avoid a release now and release a patch later. That's the only rational explanation why is taking so long.

I'm sitting here, waiting for a statement like:
"We can't fix the, what you call, "bug", because it doesn't fit into our artistic vision . . .

that's actually what QA is for. what's even more horrible is that this abomination had to pass bethesda's AND microsoft's QA in order to get upped on the marketplace. while I can see how MS could've let this slip through because it mustn't necessarily threaten their system environment, it's still quite the contrary of what they hope to achieve with exclusivity.
on bethesda's part it's just beyond me... I don't think they tested this at all. I don't know if the quick money grab is worth the damage in reputation for their company. either way, it's certainly another demonstration of lack of respect for their customers.

before this generation any company that would release something like this on console could file for bankruptcy. now it's "please wait for the patch and in the meantime shut up while we laugh our way to the bank".

"Title update resolving Dawnguard NPC issues for French, Italian, German, and Spanish versions of Skyrim expected to arrive on Monday."

This doesn't necessary mean that the update will arrive on that precise day.

The thing that's really annoying for me personally though is that the patch won't resolve me being stuck with a main game that's in english and the DLC that's in german .....

How did that happen, may I ask?

Are you a German who opted for the english version but got the German DLC because of your location?
If so, that's one more reason for me not to buy this DLC as I'm in the same boat.
