that's actually what QA is for. what's even more horrible is that this abomination had to pass bethesda's AND microsoft's QA in order to get upped on the marketplace. while I can see how MS could've let this slip through because it mustn't necessarily threaten their system environment, it's still quite the contrary of what they hope to achieve with exclusivity.
on bethesda's part it's just beyond me... I don't think they tested this at all. I don't know if the quick money grab is worth the damage in reputation for their company. either way, it's certainly another demonstration of lack of respect for their customers.
before this generation any company that would release something like this on console could file for bankruptcy. now it's "please wait for the patch and in the meantime shut up while we laugh our way to the bank".
