If you run forwards fast while shooting a plasma rifle won't you catch up with the plasma and it may smack you in the face? :laugh:
That's what it sort of looks like to me, with Annie's plasma burst.

I still haven't used energy weapons, nor worn power armor yet. Unlike FO3 power armor doesn't seem to be as abundant, though with plasma rifles a little on the rare side I do pick them up when I see them

I've a really slow connection lately, no doubt due to what's happened in the north of Australia.

So I'm back on the forums catching up with all these fabulous screenshots. I've got to say, I'm lovin' a lot of them!

The reason I haven't been posting screens is my gaming computer essentially died, well...at least the power supply. I hope that's the only thing that's wrong with it! Anyways, when I get my computer back up, I'm putting in my new Nvidia 8400GS I got for Christmas. Much more recent card than the Nvidia 6600 (which was outdated and unsupported and the games were probably even more unstable with me running that card), even though I still feel rather behind on system specs because most everyone else actually has better computers than I for screenshots such as this. I'm posting from my new laptop as we speak. It can't run Fallout 3, Oblivion, or New Vegas worth a damn, but I can at least get on and compliment you all on your screenshots! When I get my gaming comp back up, I'm gonna reinstall both Fallout 3 and New Vegas and resume to take screenshots. I'll have to recreate Jim (basically 'me' in a post-apocalyptic world, but a tad more cold), but I figure that's not so bad. Will need to get all my essentials for screenshot taking. And thank god I remember the console commands for the advanced stuff such as point of view.

Maybe when I get my stuff back up, we can do another character compilation? That was actually quite fun, making our characters interact with each other and such.

Speaking of characters, I really need to type up my backstory for Jim again. Maybe that can inspire me to do my own little screenshot story thing. I can even go to show how Jim obtained his Vault 13 suit. Thoughts?

And I might film a machinima or two to test how my graphics improves from the new card.

Still, I'm glad he got what was coming to him. She's now Jim's heroine for doing something he didn't feel was worth doing before. XD Jim always had this desire deep down to punch him in the neck (or toss him off the damned dam), but he felt he had it coming to him eventually anyways, so he didn't bother...he let someone else have the fun.
