money quests and any thing bos

yes but with any fall out not all of it was canon id gauss it was about the same amount of canon as fall out 1 2 and 3 had and i want every faction to have currency because it would add some advantages to the game and some more depth

Again, not true, only the numerical Fallouts have been Canon, so far every spin off up to this point have been Semi-Canon. Tactics was mediocre at best, but Fallout: BoS was just terrible.

And ehhh, the depth is debatable. Adding individual character backgrounds adds depth. Making your character die from a shot to the head in game would just be frustrating. Point in short, theres checks and balances on what is depth and what is just over kill.

Three types of currency are more than enough.

i think u play monopoly to much u do knowe this is fallout and not monopoly

Monopoly money is when you give someone currency they do not need/have no need for.
I go to the states then I can't do anything with my swedish kronors.
Therefor, to them, it's monopoly money.

Btw, BabaO'Riley, kickass avatar man. :P

Hearing about something in a game doesn't guarantee that something is canonical. Sure, Bethesda put a few references to Tactics content in Fo3, but that doesn't automatically make everything in Tactics canon. It's a big grey area.

the only type of currency you need to worry about is the one the doorman of New Vegas takes. Everything else can be grabbed from the nearest stiff.

Could always have a couple of BOS scripts lying around in a storage room as a reference towards tactics and establishing that BOS using scripts is canon. (But of course not actually "using" them since it has no value)
Sort of like how we could find tons of water chips in Vault 8 in Fallout 2.

the only problem is. the B.O.S is not a large enough faction and there money would only be useful in like one place.

i dont think it should be added, but i dont think its a totally stupid idea either.
some people are acting like this is the most idiotic idea since werewolves.
your idea isn't "bad" but it is unnecessary.

Why would there be BoS scrips in new Vegas, it was "a small, rogue detachment of Brotherhood of Steel" that used them, they refuse to accept the authority (original)BoS and therefore are no longer classed as BoS but as rogue.

IIRC Mid-Western BOS grew really really big during it's storyline.
So it's not a "small detachment".
And it's easy, say a "rouge" MWBOS member got tired of them and hiked by himself back to the others which nearest outpost were in the Nevada area and with him he carried some of the old scripts, not for any purpose or anything he just forgot he had them with him, and when he finally arrived he was like "Well, these are of no use anymore" and threw 'em in a storage room.

The "small detachment" is a direct quote by Scribe Jameson in FO3 hence why I enclosed it in quote marks. And unless Bethesda or Obsidian decide to include any reference to scrips in the future games (and note it is scrip not script) they are not a valid currency in the canon games.

Ah, was a loooooong time since I played Fallout 3. Didn't remember that. Sorry.
Forgot that it was called scrip(-t)s too. >_< (But it was like 2 years since I played Tactics.)

That's why I suggested the idea of finding some scrips in a back room in the BOS bunker in Vegas. :)

Rothchild also makes the statement of 'Small detatchment, gone rogue, long story' as well as saying they are near Chicago.
