i think u should be abel to turn in pre war money for bos money since bos script is pre war money any way they could sher ch it for any usable bills and give u half of it u get a random number could be for example turning one in could make u from 1 to 200 bos script

Wow it is very difficult (and painful) to read your writing, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could maybe use a spell check or something? I think what you asking is whether you can exchange pre war currency for current currency used by The Brotherhood Of Steel, in which case i am not sure what you mean, all the factions use caps. Pre war money can be sold for caps.

EDIT: just recalled Fallout Tactics; i don't think that is considered canon, even if it is i think the only alternate currencies to caps is the ones for Caesars Legion and NCR.

well i was thinking since the bos likes pre war stuff so much why couldn't they use pre war money

the brotherhood does not play a large part in new vegas.
getting currency that only works with them seems pretty pointless.

Edit: Spectre- I think you're confusing the Spellcheck option with a 'verbose' option. :laugh: (Come to think of it, a verbose tab would be pretty hilarious.)

It's not really bad (you want bad, try to read my classmates reading. The don't come further than the F word and it's the only thing spelled correctly) The only advice I give is to capitalize your I's when you are saying...well I. Other than that, the . key doesn't bite, nor does the , key. Using them would be greatly appreciated. Just a little bit of advice.

Other than that I believe they only used BoS money in the add on Fallout: BoS. As it's not considered canon I doubt it will make a return. NCR has their own currency like stated before and so has Ceasars Legion. Other than that bottlecaps are used (or in casino's poker chips). Bottlecaps last longer because they are made from metal. Paper doesn't last long and gold and silver are hard to get and work at.

Though I have to ask, why did you hope that bottlecaps were dead? (were is past tense from was, where is about a location by the way.)

Maybe in their own circles, but to have a currency, you have to have something backing it. The Legion have Gold, the NCR has water (IIRC) and bottlecaps are not able to be counterfeited, so it's general currency. For smaller factions, it'd make no sense for them to have a globally currency accepted by larger factions.

But you forget that the BoS don't just hand out their tech, they capture and preserve their technology.
