Isn't it 2013? Or is it 2012 because it was the 2012 season?

I really hope 49er fans aren't preparing to send death threats to the players again like they did after last year's NFC championship games. That's one solid reason I didn't want them to win. Their fans are among the craziest in sports and they just don't deserve it.

Has anyone seen that segment on Real Sports with Bryant Gumble about all the craziness between the fans in the stands at Candlestick Park in San Francisco? You're taking a huge risk going in there wearing the opposing teams jersey. A man was interviewed who took his two daughters to the 9er vs Saints game and he got his ass kicked while people passed his daughter around. He got his oribtal bone smashed, broken nose, two broke ribs and a broken arm. His daughters were beyond scared and that's one of the many psycho fan acts that were discussed.

What are you doing? You realize you're opening us Lions fans up for a verbal beatdown by spouting out nonsense like that? Detroit gets made fun of enough, we don't need to endure it during the offseason. Lol. Be shushing up!

They consider it the 2012-13 season but it's the 2013 super bowl. NBA does the same thing.

The holding calls in the end zone could have been called. I don't know that the extra second or two would have mattered, but it is possible though unlikely.

The "holding" on the 49ers 4th down was a great no call. Besides the fact that it might not have been a penalty (5 yard bump rule, was the ball in the air?) the ball was un-catchable and the receiver gave up on the play. There is no way that can be called at that point, especially after the entire game was called so loosely.

Suppose you can add me to the OP as a packer fan.

That superbowl absolutely svcked in the first half. Just a blowout. The halftime show was a joke and that blackout after halftime comepletely stole the Raven's momentum. Talk about bad luck. It is all Beyonce's fault. Lip singing the whole damn song except for a few parts. Pshaw!

The real game happened in the second half. However, dafuq is up with sportsmanship today? Shameful players on both sides, though the 49ers seemed more aggressive. Especially in that first half.

Yep, I certainly will come 2023. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I hope it's sooner than that, but we were expected to have a good season in 2012. It was total [censored] and there's no explanation except we also drafted like [censored]. We have an early pick this draft and we better make use of it. The past two years we spent our 1st round draft picks on players that aren't even starters.

Ah, Packers fan? What? Shame on you Dunmer, /shakehead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shakehead:' />

I agree that halftime show svcked. It has for like the past three super bowls. I can't remember any past that but I'm sure those svcked too. No one looks forward to it anymore. I mean, Beyonce? Really? She's been irrelevant for years until she lip synced for Obama's inauguration.

The ball was on the 5 yard line, and the players were in the endzone, so the 5 yard bump rule doesn't apply. The ball landed out of bounds yes, but in my opinion it was still a catchable ball. The receiver stopped yes, but that doesn't negate a hold or a pass interference. Everyone will see it differently, I just saw it as a penalty. I will agree the game was called very loosely, and in fact I think there we some penalties that the Ravens didnt get, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth so to speak seeing an obvious (again imo) penalty at the end of the game.

I thought the game was a great game, it was just very disappointing down the stretch. I'm not on the "rigged" bandwagon, just on the "refs weren't that great at their job" one.

All of that being said, I'm excited as hell for my Saints next year. Payton is back, Drew Brees is focused, and we're going to bring that championship back to the NFC. /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I am actually more of a player follower recently. I wanted the Ravens to win because of Ray Lewis after all. Plus I love teams with a strong defense. Something th packers have been lacking on...oh and obligatory http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=nUwwxWdm4k0&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DnUwwxWdm4k0
But yeah, 1st) Packers 2nd) Patriots 3rd) Colts 4th) Whoever is playing the Cowboys...

I am not much of a purist. I barely watch football anymore. It makes me frustrated because then I want to play football again lol.
Those were my thoughts as well. I was staring at her and the dancers asses the whole time out of boredom. She was a lot less attractive than I remember for some reason. Some of the dancers though...

And if we are going to [censored] about the officials, that horrid running-into-the-kicker call on the missed field goal was so much worse than the "holding" call that it isn't even funny. If they hadn't made up that call the 4th down play wouldn't have mattered.

To be honest I think a good portion of the Packer's fans here were all bandwagoners, or in other words, people who latch on to which ever team is hot, just won a championship, or are currently very successful.

Yeah, I agree. For us who have stuck by the Lions even through such abuse, scrutiny, 0-16, and lame Jay Leno jokes it's annoying to see the "insta-fans" who abandon their home-state teams and flock towards success.

Ahhh...Packers fan since I was like 4. Got it from the dad. Then I used to semi-idolize Brett Favre when I was playing football. Then he switched teams...that svcked. Used to love watching the packers play with all my siblings and stuff when I was really little.

So, I am not a bandwagon fan. For any of the teams I mentioned lol. Though the Patriots might be something similar to that. I liked them after whooping my brothers ass in a bet in a certain 2002 superbowl. Then I started liking the team. Colts are more of I liked Peyton kind of deal. Then I upgraded to liking the team.
