Also I don't consider a new land mass, seeing how its still in Skyrim. I mean after all the Snow Elves did live in Skyrim like everyone else, until you know.

looks like the soul cairn is big but really empty like the big falmer city, big but very empty. So if you play fast main quests are finished in less than 3 hours for each + all misc quests. Dunno what to think about this..

Neither were several locations, but they are still in Skyrim.

It all seems like reused items from Vanilla Skyrim for the most part, I honestly feel this Dlc is worth about 400-800 points less.

Does it have to be another province/realm for it to count?

I felt they could of added way more Armor/Outfit and Weapons....... What do you guys think?
atleast the should have gone ahead and made an entire set of Dawngaurd themed melee weapons(really only thing I can think of in terms of adding stuff like that)

I feel like it is already better than knignts of the nine.

Ok a new place set in Skyrim have not played it yet because I've heard three different things about this thanks for the clarification. It's a new part of Skyrim new land to explore and from my understanding its about the size of Point Lookout. That's good news here is to the next expansion being even bigger and loaded with even more content.

I wouldn't pay twenty bucks just for new gear. Dawnguard has plenty of new content as is.

I don't understand what you could have been expecting if you thought this DLC was lacking content. No offense meant, just I think this DLC provided exactly what I expected and more.

It really is worth $5 IMO. I bought a $60 game with new mechanics, art, music, ect. $20 just for about 15 hours worth of quests and some reskinned gear/few unique gear isn't worth it.

If you blazed through the main material I guess you could say that, but then again that was how you approached the DLC. Whether or not you enjoyed it and how you played it was entirely dependent on you.

I've been beta testing it since the 16th and I just got to the final quest in the main line. I've put over 70 hours into it, which comes with my playstyle, but if someone goes through the DLC (let alone the core game) at break neck speed, then it's no wonder that it didn't seem like much.

It's akin to someone playing on Novice and stating that the game didn't give them a high enough challenge.

true, youre right i think it depends on how your playing it but it seems that your choices during this dlc are very linear what you think?

Yes it is very linear, but Bethesda made that design choice because they don't want to have someone upset when the next game comes out by removing their actions from the canon.

I haven't bought the DLC yet... I'm going by what others say. If you compare the DLC to the vanilla Skyrim, the DLC should be about $5 IMO. I am going to play through it steadily :) (if Microsoft support helps me at all).

Well, hopefully you'll like it more than the other people complaining about it
