To be honest, Bethesda, you should just scrap the "Like WoW" attitude. Like now.
Would be a better MMO if it was FPS/ with a 3rd person option. With basic attacks on the mouse.
The last thing, the player fan base wanted to hear was "Like WoW", that immediately threw it , off for me.
Here's what you lose with the MMO...
-Modders, because, lets face it, there's no way you can let us MOD an MMO. Its possible, but not likely on your part.
-World of Warcraft haters, you lose these people automatically. Legit, just dropped, no questions asked. And believe it or not, that is a lot of people.
- People who enjoy the mechanics as is, another, simple player-base you lose, because people are more accustomed to no change, than ugly change.
You had me interested for a second. A split second i was like, wow, this is what i have been waiting for. A game with the mechanics of the Elder Scrolls series, i can finally play the same type of game with my friends. Then i read about, Like WoW combat system, that threw it out the door for me. Completely. I own WoW, and i play WoW, the LAST thing i want is Bethesda to resort to a "Like WoW" Tactic. Last thing i wanted.
Should have just kept the Oblivion skill tree, mixed it with the Skyrim Talent Tree, and Wallah, you have your skillset. Should have just kept the same mechanics, and people would be happy. Most of the people would be.
