Was IGN "fishing for hits", who knows, but we ultimately know IGN's thoughts on the matter and their stance. If anything they are supporting the PS3 gamers and giving them a right to be angry, instead of just being " whiny complainers with an inferior platform", or such ridiculous claims. The fact that Bethesda claimed that the PS3 was given more attention, or how the PS3 version was running fine, should anger gamers as they were blatant lies. On top of this Pete claimed that the statements IGN made were untrue, without calling them out on anything they claimed. Refusing an interview is one thing but calling people liars is going on a whole other level. Hell, if IGN is "stirring the pot", that's what it will take to get Bethesda to change or to talk.
Are you really that blind? Well, kudos to IGN, they're gained a convert. Don't you see that they see a HUGE market share of disatisfied players all looking to rage? All looking for any morsel of new that supports their rage? It's like watching liberal media turn the spotlight on conservative controversies and vice versa. There's no news, there's no news. THERE. IS. NO. NEWS. Let's not forget they FLEW, rabid spittle flying to "misquote" that whole Dawnguard "we have not announced" thing. They're not "on your side", they want your hits, YOUR support, YOUR market share. There's no other reasonable reason for irresponsible reporting, even if it IS "only" the gaming community.
