I rolled a twink once in WoW back before people could wear that orange gear on their alts. Went twink because i loved 20-29 Capture the Flag and wanted to make a character just for doing that. It was great fun! /tops.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':tops:' />

I'll be focusing on my orc for some time I do believe. Whilst I have roled multiple characters in previous TES games with all of the races; it's the orcs I have particularly found some sort of comfort in playing, I don't know why.

But later down the line I will be wanting to roll alts, Khajiit and Bosmer in particular I think.

heh, originally it was a 21-30 bracket. My orc warrior did the whirlwind weapon quest at level 30 with some help (the whirlwind axe was basically equivalent to a level 40 weapon, and you could get it at 30 if you had help for the boss you had to fight). I used to have a video for that character on youtube but I cant find it anymore - Did a warsong gulch match and wrecked 9 of the 10 enemy team members by myself while the rest of my team went after the flag.

I always go for one main which is a mage, though I usually end up getting attracted to a stealthy type since I enjoy being an a$$, so I roll a rogue type as well making him my main. There is a very short time span when I'm playing both of my characters, it doesn't take long before I opt for one or the other.

Playing more than one character has always felt like splitting my self into two (or three etc) and I cringe from that. And by the way I knew there would be lots of altoholics there, but seriously? 5+? Seriously people?

If ESO is good enough MMO, I'd like to roll a character of every race to see the different animations. I am assuming that the animations, emotes, dances, jokes, etc. will be race and class specific and not generic.

No, unless leveling is a cakewalk I probably won't max level all of the characters. But it would be nice to have the character slots available so I wouldn't have to delete a character just to try a different race.

Maybe ZOS could even sell extra character slots. Never understood why WoW never did this. Even with the current maximum of 11 character slots per realm, there are players in WoW who want more.

I'm an altoholic and perfectionist.. it basically means I have to be perfectly geared at every level at any time on all characters I can get my hands on.

The # of max level characters I end up having depends on how many slots I'm given and how long I intend to play the game. Voted 5+ though, the more the merrier.

One, maybe two depending on how the PvP balance is, I like playing with the underdogs because they tend to have more opportunities being engaged in combat.

Will try a few for different classes/builds, but end up playing one above all others - so eventually just one main.

I'm not a huge altoholic. I normally just have my one main which I will spend majority of my time on, but I will probably end up making at least two alts to level up throughout my experience of ESO.

The thing is I can't see the content that is available at level 50 being the exact same things you will see if you actually roll a character and play the PvE content with one of the 3 correct races. There has to be a lot of differences and I bet all you get to do is all the side quests otherwise I think some quests will see you fighting your own alliance. Maybe that's what it means when they say you will "see through the eyes of your enemy" that means when you are doing those quests for some reason you look like one of the three races that belong in that alliance area and you might be fighting against your own alliance's npc's to complete the quests.

I will mostly stick with my main, but I will likely end up with three or more characters.

i am shocked that so few voted 5 plus lol. almost everyone i gave with has multiple alts. i mean really its a question of how good the game is. the better the game the longer i will play it which means the more alts i make.

More than likely. Pretty much every MMO has a limit on how many characters you will be able to have. We just don't know how many ESO is going to limit us to.

Just one main... always one main.

There's too much to do to have multiple characters in MMORPGs IMO. Sticking with one main saves TONS of time - and time = gold, farming, ect...

That is going to be VERY interesting - especially considering most MMORPGs limit you based on server. (example: WoW has, I believe, 10 character slots per-server).

Being that ESO will be megaserver - that means you'll only have ONE set of character slots. They better add something like 20 in, just in case!

Oh, man. I hadn't thought about that. I hope the character limit is relatively high. I have five characters in Skyrim, so I probably wouldn't go much higher than that, but I don't want to worry about space.

Yeah I expect it to be a very high character limit. I'm guessing anywhere from 15-20 toons will be allowed to be created. But we will have to see once they decide to start releasing more information on this game. Which I don't really see happening for another couple of months.

Completely depends on how the game plays out at level cap. Probably 5, one in each faction and three in my main faction. I am definitely relieved to see that you can explore other faction areas at lvl 50, that goes a long way to contributing to end game play for a max level character. Very good move.

Nine different races, at least four different classes. Seriously I don't understand how anyone will only roll one character throughout their entire ESO experience unless they are planning to play for only a month or two.

Currently the approximate time to reach the level cap has been intended to last 120 hours. I'd say anyone with any responsibilities in their life is unable to dedicate 120 hours to a game during one month.

You might be surprised how serious some gamers are about their gaming. For hours played, I think many will easily put in 100 hours in a matter of weeks.

If ESO launches in late 2013 near Christmas, students will be on their seasonal breaks. Others with jobs have already said they plan to take vacation days for the launch.
