Are your real life friends excitied about FO:NV? : Fallout: New Vegas

Do you have any real life friends that know about Fallout and are excited about Fallout:NV?

Most of friends aren’t really that into gaming so this forum is one place I can discuss this nerdy stuff. My friends would probably think I was even weirder if they knew I was on some forum speculating about a game that has yet to be released.

So what’s your story?

I got some nerdy friends, but it seems like most people are excited about Dragon Age 2 and mass effect 3

I don't have any who are; it might be time to search Amazon for cheap discounts on new BFF's.
My friends IRL are all girls who don't have the least bit of interest in gaming. Unfortunately for them, I'm a bit of a fanatic, and I start talking about post-apocalyptic worlds even while we're out shopping at Abercrombie. I think they're beginning to hate me. :laugh:

Most of my friends are excited about the release of the game.

I only know actually only one person who is not looking forward for the game to be released.

That'll be the missus, who would love to play it, but who, in her own words, will spend even less time together with me.

(last few months have been kind of busy with both my work and her's, basicly when I arrive from work, she's leaving for it, and vice versa. It's not that I spend no time at all with the person I'm sharing a house and life with...)

Nope the few people I can actually call friends don't even know what Fallout is.
I showed my best friend Fallout 3 when I got it played through the tutorial and got out of the vault and everything to show him and wandered a bit showed him the freedom and all he could say what do you do? Whatever you want i says.... I could tell he was not the least bit interested and once he found out that Bathesda made it he was done listening to me about it (he HATED oblivion with a firey passion) Its ironic that he gets annoyed whenever I bring up New Vegas yet he can't shut up about Final Fantasy knowing full well that I'm not the least bit interested in that

Other than that i got one friend whose only source of gaming is a PS2 (Still) and has no desire to upgrade to anything newer.
Everyone else is INSANE WoW players who don't play anything else sheesh.

My girlfriend and a couple buddies of mine are. We are all going to the midnight release together.
