I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of going to Skyrim, but I am optimistic that Beth can pull it off and make a great place.

Morrowind didn't sound appealing at first either. I beleive they'll do the same thing again.

Remember that, originally, Vvardenfell was nothing but an ash covered lava spewing volcano all around the entire island. Now, Skyrim isn't described as all snow, although it certainly brings up that way in one's mind.

Exactly. I explained in further detail in the suggestions thread. The things we heard already aren't untrue, they just aren't the whole truth either.

In a most recent interview ith Kotaku radio, Todd fully admitted that he wasn't sold on the animations in the games and said it could be better. If a company addresses where they went wrong, they probably plan on fixing it. We already know, due to various sources that Bethesda's next title is going to be natal based. I honestly believe it would be a lot easier to develop software and technology for a game that involves heavy melee combat, rather than a shooting game like Fallout...

He didn't just say they knew the animations weren't that good, he said that one of their focuses is fixing the animation system for the next game.

Which has been common knowledge for a while.

I believe that was in reference to http://www.vg247.com/2009/08/20/pete-hines-bethesdas-mature-wii-game-is-wheelspin/.

Heh, I missed that completely. I don't why he said he didn't know what it was in the interview, then.
