The graphics are definitely good to look at with your eyes. :toughninja:

With a decent GPU you won't be disappointed. For a game that is so rich with content, it doesn't disappoint graphically either.

Just a couple of questions from me,

Does the game feel more like fallout 3, or like new vegas?

How does the sandbox part feel, were you able to go off exploring immediately or does the game feel like it's leading you by the hand on a more linear path?

The game feels more like Fallout than New Vegas, without a doubt. This is a good thing imo.

Oh...it really is a sandbox. In fact when I start over I'm going to go a completely different route at the start. Pretty much imo they kind of guide you to go through Riverwood and do those quests first as well as Whiterun. I think they're two town that are made for a starting character.

That said though you can basically high tail it to whiterun then take a carriage to any of the cities and "Start" your adventure there. Or, just make a left turn and run into the forest. Totally open ended after the linear first 20 mins or so.

Cheers thank you for the answers, one more springs to mind, have you seen any of the dynamic AI, randomly generated quests they were talking about previously?

Yep, ransom note from a innkeeper.. I only know it was random because there happened to be a major quest in the same location about an hour later....which were totally unrelated.

Not bad at all. It takes a little bit of getting used to and the UI definitely suffers from a bit of consoleitus but it's not bad. Essentially Tab is your "escape" key or "cancel" key. I had a bit of trouble getting used to the UI for about 10 minutes (which is where most rants are coming from) but quickly got used to it.

The one major problem I saw was that you cannot rebind keys that are passively bound to something else in the UI. For instance I wanted to rebind my F key to "sneak". By doing this I could not Favorite an item in my inventory because "F" is used as the default and you cannot rebind it for setting favorites. The same goes for R (which happens to be the key they make you use to drop items).. YOu cannot rebind that one either. That's the only two I noticed so far.

It's not a nightmare at all...it runs awesome on my PC and the graphics are WAY better than I anticipated. So far I really have nothing bad to say about the game...it's frickin skyrim.

See above.

Thank you so very much for this post, there were so many childish rants on here I was actually starting to get a little worried. You have set my mind at ease. I didn't even plan to try M&K but now I will. I'm so pumped 2 hours 35 mins for me!!!!

See above.

1920 Res on High/Ultra settings with a GTX 560. It's always at 40+. In one instance when there were MANY NPCs on the screen it probably dropped to 30, but nothing bad.

Xythe, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skyrim as you suggested, with no luck - I still can't even run the game, all I see is the install option on the splash screen.

Any other suggestions?
