Got to level 24, was so bleddy bored of being a high elf mage (Destruction, conjuration) i decided to start over again.

Took the role of a warrior and definatley more fun, however killing dragons is a better challenge too.

So everyone else can have fun with whatever offense they want (incudling conjuration) but if someone wants to use destruction then their [censored] out of luck? Yeh that's fair. How bout Bethesda give refunds to anyone that sends their game back because they bought under the pretence that destruction magic would be useful, you know like they showed in the gameplay trailers?

Its funny, all I see here is how mages svck, and all I see on Reddit is that mages are Op and everything else svcks.

To be honest, I see a equal number of mages are good as I do the ones saying they are junk.

Yes but those that are saying they are overpowered are not using destruction as their main offense. Either that or they are sub level 20. Basically they don't understand the argument

That's only 1v1 and late game when you can get all the gems and enchantment level required. Most pure mages will struggle a lot getting to that point. Even at that point if it takes 10 spells just to kill an equally leveled thug it's just like someone else said "like throwing wet noodles at your enemy". Warriors just one hit everything with a good weapon and charge into 10 men mobs with no fear of death and just two button mash faceroll.
