Combat, To WoW or not WoW, maybe to Morrowind

Dragon Age did a WoW style combat system. I really loved that series, but not for the gameplay. In fact, I absolutely hate that way of combat, it was the story and character development whih made DA one of my favourite series.
If they can do the lore and gameworld well enough, the combat will bother me less.
Dragon age copied it's interface from Baldur's gate and other top down party based RPG, you only give orders to the characters on how and who to attack and they aim themselves.
Only way to do it for an party based RPG, yes you can use auto attack only but that don't work well except for pests.

WOW copied this system even if you only controlled one character, benefit is that it work well with lag, if you aim and shoot and your enemy position is not updated you see a hit but the server calculate it as an miss, it's also easier for players than aiming.
Downside is that it's boring combat, to compensate they added complex attack rotations.

Hot works due to the dice based combat system. And Morrowind used a Dice based combat system. Remember, WoW style combat is from an age when internet connections were not that great. We're past that era. And if Planet Side can do PVP combat forma First Person view back in 2003, with thousands of players on the server, then why couldn't an TES mmo do it?

Also saying:
"You apparently don't know what you're talking about if you don't play MMO's, but it is the only logical choice for an MMO with multiple spells and abilities."

Just makes you seem like a 14 year old who thinks they know everything without providing a logical argument. WoW, and ToR combat is NOT the future, it's stuf that's dated form the 90's.
Say that combat in Morrowind is 9/10 Skyrim and 1/10 WOW.
In Morrowind you had to aim and hit with ranged weapons and spell. With swords you had to be inside the range of the enemy with your weapon and face the right direction.
You could jump away and evade an enemy melee attack and you could move around to get out of incoming fire.
Only difference in Skyrim is that Morrowind had an hit chance, say with skill 25 you had 20% chance of hit, if you hit you did 50 damage, in Skyrim you always do damage on physical hit but only 20% of max damage unlike 100% in Morrowind.

In WOW you select enemy and attack, you will hit if in range and facing against the enemy.
You can not escape attacks except running away.

First Skyrim info is released: "It's not enough RPG!"
First TESO info is released: "It's not enough action!"

Will TES fans ever be happy? =/

This one does not see why so few mention Darkfall Online for the combat, or anything else. Some even say such combat is not possible for something like this, which Vur'Kha does not understand.

The game has stamina bar, which fuels your manual blocking, parrying and dodging. The combat system seems to be the most viable option for Mass PvP multiplayer. Why are people so focused on this, when the real trouble lies in the core of game features, which do not resemble elder scrolls, but of a dumped down MMORPG with some spices from the Khajit trade caravans?

Im tired of this kind of comments. So I assume you played the game? Because if you DONT, your argument is an entirely fail.
