I either sleep or, if I can't shake it, pick a show to watch in its entirety. I don't think the latter cheers me up so much as it keeps my mind off whatever has me down.

Seriously, it matters why I'm feeling down.

If its work related, I'll go to the gym for a few hours. (take a dip in the pool, play a game of racketball, etc) Lets me cool down and think, while still feeling like I've done something.

If its family/friend related, I'll draw up one of those Uber girly baths. Bubbles, fragrance, salts, all that jazz. I even have some bath toys; this stuff that turns your bath into like a half solid (hard to explain) and these little fizzy things that dissolve and have tiny action figures in them.

erm... Watch football. Lots of football and beer.

I found it in a local store. You basically pour it in your bath, and it makes it have the consistency kind of like oatmeal and changes colors (I think theres blue, green, and purple). Then you put the other packet in and it turns back to normal.
The name of the stuff is escaping me though.
