Whenever some pony is feeling down and out, how do you cheer

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:25 pm

Play guitar, and maybe write a tune about how I feel. Nice to come up with some good material when the world gets you down, that always cheers me up. :P

Sadistic - deriving pleasure or sixual gratification from inflicting pain on another.

You get sixually pleased from burning down a pixelated house...May I have your brain for, umm, science?
Look at the word I underlined. Its important.
Games are great for letting of steam. I had fun with my legion run in FNV, where I just killed everone. I wish I could have people crucified though, god I realy hated some of the people.
Allthough I think the best thing for sadists is "whodunnit" in Oblivion. Making those 2 lovers murder eachother... I liked that mission.

Play guitar, and maybe write a tune about how I feel. Nice to come up with some good material when the world gets you down, that always cheers me up.
Thats pure punk/rock man. Atleast according to a VN I read :P

A walk, alone in the wee hours of the morning when its still dark. Its as if I am the only person in the world. Just me and the sweet music. Works wonders, it really does.

Getting into the habit of doing this again myself. Sometimes I'll bring along a cup of coffee or a flask of gin. Beautiful times

Friends. I spend as much time as possible with my friends.

If it's really bad, I force myself to think of at least one good thing for every bad thing that comes into my head. It's a pita but it eventually helps.

I talk to my girlfriend.

Failing that, I go for a run. Usually helps clear the head and make me feel better.

Failing that, booze usually works. Until the following morning...

Typically I think to myself that when I get all sad I feel mentally weak. Then I get over myself. When it is something like a family death, I just let it run its course.

Looking at internet videos of small furry animals that do funny things.
I liked the one about the rabbit herding the flock of sheep.
Kittens are also always great.

Running really helps for me. Great physical and mental release. I also like listening to Frank Turner, shouting the lyrics whilst tears stream down my face.

Beer tends to cheer me up real fast, I don't believe in being angry and drunk.
