Mass Effect thread #67

http://blog.bioware.com/2012/04/05/mass-effect-3-extended-cut/ I think Bioware is handling it correctly. Clarity for their vision, not changing it to please some folks. All in all an interesting development. I think the frustration at the ending caught them flat-footed. I'll be downloading this when it is released and replaying ME3 at that point.

I don't think it was rollercoaster crap though. The Bioware folks have been very PR-careful about what they were saying.

I have to unfortunately disagree, Bioware has been handling this whole thing terribly from a PR stance.

I merely noted that all their communications have been PR-speak.

I'm okay with them maybe trying to clarify the ending they set-up rather than knee-jerk respond to a group that just doesn't like the ending by creating a new ending. If they had an ending that creatively they wanted, then fine - I may not like it, but at least if I understood it better, I might be a smidge less disappointed. We'll see, I guess.

Anyway, post limit folks.
