After PAX it's almost certain to be set in Orlais.
I'm not sure it'll make a difference; the way they're going, the entire game will be set in a single street so you won't really be able to tell anyway.
Nope. It's clear now they're a very different company and aren't interested in making the kinds of games they used to. The first Dragon Age was the last hurrah, only because it had been in development since 2005 which was a different time.
I agree and probably would never buy DA3 after the horrid way they made DA2. Fact is I could say the same for other companies as well. It saddens me to say that I have no faith in BGS after Skyrim either. IMHO I do not like where they have taken the TES series in a simplified, streamlined and sorry to say dumbed down direction. They have become no better then Bioware. For all the features they gutted from TES, they were better off with Oblivion and the funny thing is, I wasnt fond of TES4 but atleast it was tolerable. To me there is no difference between the gates or the dragons. Nothing but hack and slash runs through endless 3 hour dungeons with no real reward for it IMHO. The gaming industry has declined alot in the past year with alot of people upset over many game issues. I just see the industry getting worse and ask myself if it is time to just hang up the game pad and stop playing altogether, seems like there is nothing worth it anymore.
Sure I'll buy DA3...As soon as they break away from EA, release an SDK for both DA2/3 and the entire ME series, finally collaborate with Obsidian to remake the Baldur's Gate series and Torment...So, I guess the answer is...No...

The TES series was always an action RPG, if you want a traditional RPG, go with Drakensang or the upcoming http://www.grimrock.net/(Shameless plug ) you want Hack and slash, go with Diablo...Oblivion was an interactive screen saver in comparison..
