Will you buy Dragon Age 3?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 7:51 am

Am I the only one here that hasn't played any Dragon Age game? :unsure2:

Probably not. But I imagine most who haven't won't have much to say in a thread like this. ;)

I'm done with bioware, personally. ME3 is the last bioware game to join my games library. May Obsidian make sequels to all their IP's.

Is that a curse or a wish?

Very unlikely. Maybe for 5-10 euros later on, or as an Ultimate Edition with all DLC, if it turns out it's actually good.

I haven't. I might have bought the games during a sale but then I got the chance to play the DA2 demo.. After playing that demo I had no intention of ever buying the full game so I decided not to invest in the series altogether.

I, personally, think DAO works fine as a standalone game. If you see if for cheap I'd recommend it - don't feel its like Mass Effect where you'd miss out by not playing subsequent games. :)

Both, I think. Obsidian would produce good writing while being rushed to the finish line and filling the product with bugs.

Absolutely not. Didn't play ME3 because I didn't like ME2. Didn't play Dragon Age 2 because ME2 pissed me off. I used to love Bioware, now I despise them.

Of course I will. Dragon Age Origins was great, and Dragon Age 2 was better. Yeah, that's right. I said Dragon Age 2 was better.

I've never played any of the Mass Effect games, so those don't influence my opinion at all.

I'll wait for a general opinion before wasting my time.

If it pars with Dragon Age Origins or (if possible) better then yes I'll get it.

But if like DA2 - If I ever were to try it ot, it would be somewhat like the weird fascination of how kids poke dead bodies with a stick.

Okay, I'll give DA2 a try. Someday. When I can get ME3 for $10 bucks, I'll buy that too. :P

Theyve strongly suggested you won't play as other Hawke or The Warden.

Yes, but when, and for how much $$ depends on the user reviews I see in the forums.

One thing I NEVER do is pre-order a game.

edit : still haven't bought ME3, waiting for the price drop and a "final" ending

Hahaha, nope. I didn't touch Dragon Age 2 with a 10 foot pole. I didn't touch EA's battlefield 3 either. Mass Effect 2 was good, until Mass Effect 3 single handedly crashed and burned the entire series into a burning pile of [censored] infested inferno. Now the ending DLC might change that, but I sincerely doubt it. I have vowed off EA/Bioware long ago. Mass Effect 3 was the exception and even it clearly couldn't escape the fail train. Then again this should be obvious given my http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66imrid90UM&feature=related(however minor) in the retake Mass Effect 3 movement. So no, I wont be touching Dragon Age 3. I wont be touching anything from Bioware ever again.

I severely doubt it, at least new and at full price. Keeping the Voiced Protagonist would be the worst thing that could happen. I could deal with it in Dragon Age 2 but not in 3.

Why don't people like the voiced aspect of it? I think I'm in the minority when I say I preferred it...

Less Choices, Less Dialoge lines and more memory data being taken up. A Voiced Protagonist can work but they are much better in a set game like Mass Effect or Witcher.
