Ps3 users shouldn't expect updates for a while, first comes XBOX 360 1.8 patch, then the new exclusive DLC, then the "damage control" patch for the new exclusive DLC because no one play tested it, then PC DLC and then... maybe then patch 1.8 for PS3, delay on the "new" content and... Happy 2014!!!

This got me thinking....Do we even know if 1.8 was submitted for certification to Sony and Microsoft? I've been checking the forums daily to see if the patch has been released and I realized I haven't read that they submitted the patch yet

They usually don't announce that the patch has been subbmitted but a two week wait isn't unusual for consoles.

That's true. For some reason I just assumed it was submitted. Thinking back though, 1.6 became 1.7 before we got it quite a while after Xbox and PC.

I know it's a long time coming, but we'll update you guys when we're ready. Prior to that, I wouldn't expect a peppering of hints & updates.
