So i guess "new" content is coming our way pretty soon (who know's how long that is?). Bethesda, how 'bout you tell us what you've got waitin' under that blanket and when, because I think we've waited long enough?

You should run. Arrows to knees might be coming your way. People are mighty touchy about their sweet rolls.

This is what I'm thinking. Soon to me when speaking about video games at it's latest is a month, who knows what that means to Beth.

...I can take it, though...I watched my Character take atlest several before he and I decide together that running is a great idea.

There was a guard who said a similar line, but it was a sword to the chest... apparently not as catchy.

I know the priest spewing Talos nonsense in Whiterun took a arrow to the face :whistling: I swear I had nothing to do it...which is why the guards never found me.

Must look pretty nifty with an arrow in the eye. Guards don't see anything I do. For all they know I'm an upstanding citizen.

360's were known to get red rings for little to no reason aside from literal and actual system failure. Infact Microsoft had to have players send their systems in to get the defective part replaced. It went on for however long before they fixed this, yet sony has had only a few issues with hardware. It's game development is where people had complaints initially but now? AAA titles on the PS3 with no real game breaking bugs.

 That's why my soon to be PC will have at least 4 fans and be liquid cooled, now only if they could invent liquid Consoles

There used to be a couple companies that made lc systems for the PS3, but I don't know of any that make it anymore. Like most liquid cooled PC's, the parts are obviously aftermarket.

EDIT: I was wrong, they are still made. A few minutes among the PS3 Forums and viola!

http://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=566
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_info.php/info/p13118_Alphacool-Playstation-3-K-hler.html

Though really the PS3 doesn't need liquid cooling, much easier and less expensive ways of installing components to keep the PS3 at optimal temperature. Really though, the biggest culprit to the YLOD is the fault of the EU :P (not really, they are right in their decisions)

In reading these last posts, I just thought I would throw in my two cents on something.

I don't blame Microsoft for any of this. In fact, I pity them. They got svckered into paying for exclusivity over two consoles, when all they needed was to pay for one. I really wonder if Bethesda disclosed that they were not even close to releasing anything for the PS3 to Microsoft when giving them the price for the 30 days of exclusivity?

I don't blame Sony either. Sure, it has been said it's "harder" to program for by software companies. So what? It should really depend on one's skill set. It shouldn't be harder, just different. The PS3 is not new either. The console has been around for years. Other companies have figured out how to make a wonderfully performing game on it, it is only Bethesda that keeps banging their heads trying to do a lazy port job.

Every single issue Bethesda has had on the PS3 console over the years are entirely on them. It is their fault they refuse to program for the console, therefore it is their fault when the games don't work. It is also their fault that the games stay broken. They could concentrate on fixing them but their programmers are always moving on to the next big project.

PS, I still find it concerning that every time someone asks about DLC, they always respond with "content." If I remember correctly, the last time they really mentioned DLC and PS3 in the same sentence was when they said it was a problem they didn't think they could fix.

Well, DLC stands for Downloadable "Content", I would assume any new content would have to be "Downloaded" so therefor it will be DLC. Now whether it's "Horse Armor" or an Expansion Pack remains to be seen.

I still think we will get Dragonborn because it's a new area separate from the main game. I still have doubts we are getting Dawnguard and/or Hearthfire.

Well, the Shivering Isles and just about all the DLC for the Fallout games were seperate areas that took a loading screen to get to. They still managed to break games. I, being realistic since they can't release broken DLC when the media is breathing down their necks, think the DLC will be just weapon and armor packs. They will let us make arrows and get dragonbone weapons.

I don't remeber any of the DLC for Oblivion or Fallout 3 breaking games for me. Then again I bought the GOTY Edition for Oblivion, but I bought all the DLC for Fallout 3. I had no issues besides the occational Freezes. My brother had an issue with Mothership Zeta where it would freeze everytime he tried to load but deleting the game data and redownloading the expansion cleared it up. I have 100% Trophies on FO3, and probably would have the same on Oblivion if they had added Trophies. Only issue I ran into on Oblivion besides the occational freezing is one of my many times through it the Orc fell off the Bridge in Skingrad and I couldn't buy the house but's hardley a game breaker.

Fallout New Vegas I never made it to the end of the regular game. It would freeze on me every 5 min at the point I was at and after about an hour and a half of getting nothing accomplished I put it in it's case and never touched it again. Never bought any expasion packs for that game so I can't comment on them.

As far as us only getting Dragonborn, I think that loading into a new area will help the RAM, the Main game of Skyrim is already taxing the RAM of the PS3, Adding in Dawnguard and Herthfire will make it worse. With Dragonborn they have the ability to unload the main game information out of the RAM to help ease the game performance.

:ermm: Bethesda already said you will either get the entire DG DLC or nothing at all. They are not going to give you just pieces of the DLC and that goes for all of Skyrims DLC'S.

C'mon Bethesda, we're still waiting...

That small window of opportunity you created is closing incredibly fast.
