I don't know,i have hope that it will be released simultaneously.
The most interesting clue is that the trailer didn't have the Xbox logo in the end,and it was said that only the first 2 would be timed exclusives.

Yes, but the release date is only specified for the xbox release.
I suppose we'll have to wait at least a month to get it for PC, and by that I mean more like 2 months.

Whatever happens, once its out for xbox, I'll put my head in the sand and avoid anything that could possibly spoil the game for me.

Because new releases are drowned out by the deals on there, and it would be january first or second i imagine. Honestly if there smart they will put it out before the sale as many may not want to blow anymore on games after that sale ends.

"Smart" may not factor into if there is (still) a legally binding contract with Microsoft...

Im wondering if we should expect at least a 2 week delay. Why? I dunno since they deaign it on a PC first for xbox so I really dont get why we would be delayed but we will. There will be a week or 2 of no word for PC users and then the Tuesday before or on chriatmas day, Pete will text that the dlc is out and they are working on getting ps3 users content out there.

Im npt worried because I have to wait even longer because ill have to wait for the update for skyre before I can start playing it.

My guess? Not a month later... get get those holiday sales in. Being as there's been no "leak" as to exclusivity, I'm also going to guess that either there isn't any, or that it will be minimal.

Gonna plug a Christmas wish in here too, hope BGS is able to get PS3 DLCs out the door in time for the holidays.

I obviously either don't understand marketing AT ALL or it's been years since a company has actually employed someone who truly understands marketing and has done their job.
For the life of me, I cannot understand how not saying jack about your new product is supposed to help build hype. I mean yeah don't give it all away up front, but wouldn't it be wise to give little snippets of info ~once per week?

While I don't want details spoiled for me before release, I only just found out that its being released within the week. If I had little snippets as you say it wouldn't have fallen off my radar. The only reason its suddenly got my attention is because there was a thread about whether the DLC should tie in to the Main Quest that I saw in the 'recent topics' bar. It seemed like the sort of thing I enjoy complaining about so I had a look.

Pretty much this. Seeing as Skyrim and its DLCs have been in the top 10 sellers, every day, for over a year, I'd say your estimation of their PR/Marketing team is at least a bit off the mark, no?

Still no (obvious) sign of it on Steam -- not looking good!
For DB and HF you could see them weeks before they were released for PC. Unless it's that test app that hasn't been updated since August..

first two major dlc get exclusivity for xbox. that was the deal. now i understand why it would go to xbox first anyway due to it being the priority platform [makes them the most money] and pc would probably take a bit more optimization.

The only reason the Xbox makes developers more money than the PC is because they keep porting [censored] over to us rather than developing to our platform's strengths.

You have that backwards.

Game companies only port from Xbox to PC becuase xbox makes more money for them, and Xbox makes more money becuase it is cheaper, and so more people buy it.
